Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hopeless Soo - some greedy bean counter at HP has decided to GOUGE is users, by doing a firmware update to its printers that prevents the use oh non-HP cartridges. It’s like a car manufacturer making it mandatory to use one brand of fuel. We all know that the non-HP cartridges work just fine. After all it’s MY printer - if I want to take the “risk” of using non-HP cartridges, that’s my choice !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP ink Cartridges In my experience always use the printer manufacturers ink cartridges. There is a vast amount of technology in the ink at least as much as the printer hardware. You can destroy your printer if you use after market ink cartridges.
