Rated 1 out of 5 by OP.AP from Not good, don't bother NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS!!! Doesn't connect, to wifi or laptop, took me over an hour to sort this and I'm not unfamiliar with technology. It makes a high pitched sound all the time so i have to keep it turned off when I'm not using it. It cost a lot of money for such a basic printer and the ink doesn't last long either, so good luck if you decide to purchase this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Focc from Just don't. If I could give this printer 0 stars I would. Has caused me nothing but pain. Everytime I go to print something there is an issue with it. Paper gets jammed, or the paper tray doesn't feed the printer paper and if I go to print off of my phone it doesn't print things to fit the page and cuts out half of it. Useless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SRuss from Fantastic printer, if you have private wifi facilities and not renting in student halls. I brought this printer a year ago. It is really great in terms of printing quality and multi use. The only criticism is the hp smart subscription. If you are in a situation where you can't receive private broadband, then the printer is useless to use. Even if there is a USB port, you can only use the printer temporary and still requireswifi facilities. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have a public broadband, therefore cannot use the hp smart subscription. So I feel like I've wasted money.

Worked for a short time and then crapped itself. The you get a regular bill for replacement cartridges. If you want one you will find it in the bin at Bunnings.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ralaia from Terrible software making it inpractical Desktop software is terrible. You need to continually relogin and if you can't log in then none of the features will work. It's all based arounf HP controlling how you use your printer/scanner. Do not sign up to the monthly ink deal because then you can't print unless your printer is connected to the internet and you are logged into your account. I just wanted a simple colour printer with scanner and this one fails. Not due to the equipment but because of the useless software. Wifi network printing also freequently disconnects unless you send it via HP, another con. Printing and scanning are decent when you are permitted to use them

When it does decide to print a day or two later (sometimes at random times in the night) it uses too much ink and we are forever purchasing black or coloured ink. When I've tried to contact the HP virtual assistant it says it is looking for additional information for our device, and there is no opportunity to type in the problem and seek a solution. Terrible product, terrible customer service. I'll never but a HP product again.

If you take advantage of the trial service (12 months 700 color pages, the photos are counted as normal color pages !!) There is little to add. Rated 1 out of 5 by Geoff from HP Printer Envy 6034e all in one printer / laptop This is my 3rd laptop in 5 years, the first 2, the letters and numbers wore off just after a year and had to be traded in for another PC, now this one I have a portable keyboard so I don't wear the letters off, should never have happened. The new printer took me over a week to set up, more trouble than it's worth. On HP Smart it won't allow me to sign in, it goes to a blue circle spinning but then back to hp smart, not signed in, frustrating and hopeless. Dr Print and Scan tells me that my scan is not working, wants me to 'restart' my PC and it should be fixed, it's not, so I can't scan, so I go to 'fixes and diagnostic ' which takes me from Chrome to Firefox, but on there all I end up with is a black screen, nothing opens, so Firefox is useless. I'm keep being told to download this or that which I again do and it still doesn't fix my printer from going, terrible. On hp smart when I press scan it wants me to sign in, but it doesn't allow me to, so around in circles I go, not achieving anything, mind you my printer is turned on and the wifi light is on. On my desktop I have dr. print/scan for my printer on it, plus I have an icon for HP Scan, now if I press this it takes me to a scan page, which works, but dr. pr/scan says my scan is not set up, such confusion, also it tells me to install the 'installer' which I press, but it takes me to Firefox and nothing appears, hopeless. It's all so annoying and confusing, one thing says it's not got all the downloads, while on my desktop the icon works, how on earth can you work any of this out. It says it's easy to setup my new printer, but it's taken me over a week to get it going. With the 2 previous laptops I had to get rid of (keys wearing off) and the complexity of setting up printer I believe I should get some compensation. In total I've spent almost $5000 in hp laptops/printers to be totally dissatisfied and the only reason I bought HP was because it was H/Norman best choice, never again and believe I should be compensated by HP for all their products that have failed. There is probably much more I have forgotten about, but sure I will have to try and cope once again today. Geoff.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sallymac from HP6030 shines a light on your life The printer prints just like my old HP4000 series, but there the happiness ends. It has annoying lights that cant be dimmed. As the printer is located just outside my bedroom, the area is lit up like daylight all night, even with the light turned down to lowest (which solution was not easy to find). As a Mac user, being able to print and scan from native Mac software on my old computer was great. Now I have to have an additional app for scanning as the HP software is not as simple to use in the way I want to collect scanned pages in a document and save them simply in the folder I nominate. I went for the option to have printer cartridges supplied automatically which means you cant turn the printer off. I may have to stop this option because the light is really annoying at night.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from worst printer I have ever used This is the worst printer I have ever used. After only 1 week of use it will no longer feed paper without getting jammed. I have followed every instruction on how to clear the print path, but save for using a screwdriver to physically take it apart there is nothing I can do to get it working. I bought it mainly for printing shipping labels, and it does not handle specialty paper well, and the feed is so confusing that I have thrown away copious paper and have had ink smears everywhere from it printing on the unintended side because trying to remember to feed the paper backwards, upside down and last page first gets old real quick. After trying to use it unsuccessfully I am now having such bad spooling issues that I can't get my other printer to print now either. It is going in the bin, along with the brand new ink and am cancelling the subscription.
