Terrible software making it inpractical
Desktop software is terrible. You need to continually relogin and if you can't log in then none of the features will work. It's all based arounf HP controlling how you use your printer/scanner. Do not sign up to the monthly ink deal because then you can't print unless your printer is connected to the internet and you are logged into your account. I just wanted a simple colour printer with scanner and this one fails. Not due to the equipment but because of the useless software. Wifi network printing also freequently disconnects unless you send it via HP, another con. Printing and scanning are decent when you are permitted to use them

Terrible printer - do not buy!
The printer is always saying it is offline, and you cannot print. When it does decide to print a day or two later (sometimes at random times in the night) it uses too much ink and we are forever purchasing black or coloured ink. When I've tried to contact the HP virtual assistant it says it is looking for additional information for our device, and there is no opportunity to type in the problem and seek a solution. Terrible product, terrible customer service. I'll never but a HP product again.

HP Printer Envy 6034e all in one printer / laptop
This is my 3rd laptop in 5 years, the first 2, the letters and numbers wore off just after a year and had to be traded in for another PC, now this one I have a portable keyboard so I don't wear the letters off, should never have happened.
The new printer took me over a week to set up, more trouble than it's worth.
On HP Smart it won't allow me to sign in, it goes to a blue circle spinning but then back to hp smart, not signed in, frustrating and hopeless.
Dr Print and Scan tells me that my scan is not working, wants me to 'restart' my PC and it should be fixed, it's not, so I can't scan, so I go to 'fixes and diagnostic ' which takes me from Chrome to Firefox, but on there all I end up with is a black screen, nothing opens, so Firefox is useless.
I'm keep being told to download this or that which I again do and it still doesn't fix my printer from going, terrible.
On hp smart when I press scan it wants me to sign in, but it doesn't allow me to, so around in circles I go, not achieving anything, mind you my printer is turned on and the wifi light is on.
On my desktop I have dr. print/scan for my printer on it, plus I have an icon for HP Scan, now if I press this it takes me to a scan page, which works, but dr. pr/scan says my scan is not set up, such confusion, also it tells me to install the 'installer' which I press, but it takes me to Firefox and nothing appears, hopeless.
It's all so annoying and confusing, one thing says it's not got all the downloads, while on my desktop the icon works, how on earth can you work any of this out.
It says it's easy to setup my new printer, but it's taken me over a week to get it going.
With the 2 previous laptops I had to get rid of (keys wearing off) and the complexity of setting up printer I believe I should get some compensation.
In total I've spent almost $5000 in hp laptops/printers to be totally dissatisfied and the only reason I bought HP was because it was H/Norman best choice, never again and believe I should be compensated by HP for all their products that have failed.
There is probably much more I have forgotten about, but sure I will have to try and cope once again today.

Great little printer
Great printer, very easy to set up and really easy to find with mobile devices. quality is A1.
