It is a better choice HP developed for a range of Notebooks and Laptops that also suited my 15" Notebook with SSD. I am really happy with it. The unit also comes with a larger DC adaptor lead for older model Notebooks/Laptops. The extra power rating it has should make it last longer than the unit supplied with the Notebook.

Now the diagnostics tell me that the power supply is inadequate for my laptop and I am unable to test the new AC adapter. Yes, I am patched up to current levels, including bios. Waste of time and money.
