Description

The page has one or more dark or brown streaks in the feed (horizontal) direction that extend across the entire page (outside the printable area).

Most likely causes

  • The cleaning blade in the intermediate-transfer belt ITBPicture of the ITB. unit may be nicked or deformed.

Troubleshooting and suggestions

  1. Print 10-30 PQ troubleshooting pages to see if the streaks clear. Show me how.
  2. If the streaks continue, replace the ITBPicture of the ITB. unit. Show me how.
  3. Wait until the printer returns to the Ready state. Note that this will take several minutes.
  4. Print and examine another set of PQ troubleshooting pages. Show me how.
  5. If the issue is not resolved, Contact HP.
