Description
Thin vertical lines in the color of yellow repeating every 1.6 inches (41 mm) in the whole page.
Most likely causes
- The charge roller in the yellow image drum is not charging the OPC uniformly.
Troubleshooting and suggestions
- In the Print Quality - Optimize menu, set Cleaning Frequency to Alternate. This increases the frequency with which the charge roller is cleaned. Show me how.
- Print and examine another set of PQ troubleshooting pages. Show me how.
- Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, replace the yellow print cartridge Show me how.
- After replacing the cyan image drum, print another set of PQ troubleshooting pages. Show me how.
- Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, Contact HP.
Recommended parts
Order a yellow image drum.
Note: It is not necessary to replace the other image drum.
