Description
Pages print with thin vertical lines in the color of blue in the green part. Only one repeating line may be seen, repeating every 1.6 inches (75.5mm).
Most likely causes
- The charge roller in the yellow image drum is not charging the OPC uniformly.
Troubleshooting and suggestions
- In the Print Quality - Optimize menu, set Cleaning Frequency to Alternate. This increases the frequency with which the charge roller is cleaned. Show me how.
- Print and examine another set of PQ troubleshooting pages. Show me how.
- Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, replace the yellow print cartridge Show me how.
- After replacing the yellow image drum, print another set of PQ troubleshooting pages. Show me how.
- Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, Contact HP.
Recommended parts
Order a yellow image drum.
Note: It is not necessary to replace the other image drums.
