Gesture-based Keyboard

HP's Gesture-based Keyboard allows users to easily input Indic script with the help of a pen. This enables easy local language entry that is intuitive and easy to learn for a large proportion of the local population who may not understand English or know how to type.

Handheld Scanner (CapShare)

CapShare technology offer customers the ability to capture whole pages, anywhere, via free hand scanning with a PC-independent device that fits in the palm of a hand. It analyzes an entire page with built-in digital microscopes and searches for matches in picture and text, then seamlessly stitches them together in seconds to build an accurate electronic copy of the full page — from business cards to flip charts.

Image Stabilization

Image capture devices (e.g. cameras, surveillance cameras or cameras with long zoom ranges) often produce substandard and blurry images due to vibration of the camera. HP Image Stabilization technology employs a state-of-the-art technology that provides clear images by accurately compensating for unwanted camera motion.

LightScribe

LightScribe is an innovative technology that uses a special disc drive, special media and label-making software that enables the burner itself to print the user's custom label design directly onto CDs and DVDs. Because the labels are laser-etched — not printed — there's no ink, no smudging and no peeling.

Real-Life Camera

HP Real Life technologies take much of the guesswork out of digital photography and make it easy to produce great photos that are crisp, realistic and true-to-life. These include adaptive lighting, in-camera red-eye removal, panorama preview, image advice, noise filter and more.

SheetSmart Booklet Maker

SheetSmart technology is a paper-finishing solution that makes a real booklet from printed pages (that is, folded pages, trimmed edges, saddle stitch, duplex printed and two-up printed pages characteristics). It uses sheetwise processing technologies, Off-the-Shelves binder and associated HP's printing and paper handling technologies to produce a true trimmed booklet with a Bill of Materials of consumer products.
