Effective September 1, HP discontinued the IPDS Emulation solutions. Solutions are available from partners in the HP Solutions Business Program and information is available in the HP Global Solutions Catalog

Print reports of IBM IPDS data streams from a range of systems, using HP IPDS Emulation Solutions. Produce data streams from AS/400-i series IBM power- and mainframe-systems with a resolution up to 600 dpi, plus get seamless emulation switching. Use additional HP printing features for greater connectivity and support. Access and print non-IPDS files (PCL5, PCL6, PostScript, PDF and more) from an embedded web server. You also get tray and bin mapping and integrated-solution support features.

•  Conversion of the IPDS data stream done inside the device, frees host resources and increases print speeds.

•  Supports Advanced Function Printing (AFP) using native IPDS protocol.
•  Supports all AFP/IPDS Towers.
•  Host controlled printing and page range printing.
•  Flexible page positioning is provided without modifying the applications.
•  Device tray mapping.
•  Edge-to-edge printing on select printers.
•  Configuration via front panel, embedded Web server for remote configuration, or broadcast configuration file to devices.
•  Compatible with HP JetDirect enabled printers and HP Web JetAdmin.
