Newsweek 2012 Green Rankings. HP once again earned a top spot on the Newsweek Green Rankings in recognition of our commitment to environmental sustainability. For the third year in a row, we ranked 2nd on Newsweek's listing of the top 500 U.S. companies. In addition, we placed 22nd on the Global 500 list. (October 2012)
2012 Carbon Disclosure Project Leadership Index. For the second consecutive year, HP is featured in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index issued by the Carbon Disclosure Project, which ranks companies on the transparency and progress they have made on their carbon emissions and climate change goals. Dow Jones Sustainability Index. HP is are among the top companies named to the 2012 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, which measures a company's economic, environmental, and social performance. (September 2012)

GREENBEST Award 2012. HP Brazil received, for the second consecutive year, the GREENBEST Award in the Technology category, with HP Original Cartridges elected as the most sustainable product in the Brazilian market. (May 2012)
FTSE4Good Index. HP was named to the FTSE4Good Index for the ninth year in a row. The index objectively measures the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards. (May 2012)
Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. HP Fort Collins Sustainable Data Center received the 2011 Environmental Business Ripple Award, recognizing its use of "groundbreaking technology to minimize power for cooling while providing a research center to continually develop new sustainable technology." (February 2012)
Climate Counts Company Scorecard. HP has been ranked #1 in the electronics sector of the 2011 Climate Counts Company Scorecard, which scores the world's largest companies on their climate impact. HP was also placed in the new top-tier “striding” category, which highlights companies that are “striding towards a low-carbon future.” (December 2011)
Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics. HP has claimed the top spot in the Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics, scoring 5.9 points out of a possible 10. (November 2011)
Top Green-IT Vendors 2011. HP was ranked #2 on Computerworld’s 2011 list of the Top Green-IT Vendors, moving up four positions from its 2010 ranking. (November 2011)

Interbrand. HP has been named to the inaugural listing of the 50 Best Global Green Brands. HP ranked first among technology companies and placed fifth overall.
Mediacorp Canada. HP was recognized by Mediacorp Canada as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for the fourth year in a row. In addition, HP Advanced Solutions, HP’s subsidiary for services delivery, was also named to the list.
GREENBEST 2011. The MFP HP F4480 printer was named the winner of a GREENBEST award in Brazil. The printer was chosen based on its environmentally sound design, use of recycled plastics in both the printer and HP cartridges, and its ENERGY STARŪ certification.
Climate Counts Company Scorecard HP was ranked #2 in the Climate Counts Company Scorecard, and repeated as #1 in the Electronics Sector. Scores are based on what has been done to measure and reduce emissions, what actions have been taken on climate legislation and how work has been communicated. (December 2010)

Low Carbon Champion 2010. People.com.cn, one of the most influential government websites in China, recognized China HP as the China Low Carbon Champion for 2010. (August 2010)
Green Enterprise IT Award 2010. Uptime Institute selected HP as a winner of a 2010 Green Enterprise IT Award in the Data Center Design category for its Wynyard facility in the UK. (May 2010)
PrintAction magazine. For the fifth year in a row, HP received multiple Environmental Printing Awards. These included Gold awards for its Carbon Footprint Calculator for Printing tool and Most Environmentally Progressive Technology Supplier in Canada.
