Horizontal streaks or bands and Vertical streaks or bands are defined by the orientation of the paper as it exits the printer. Consequently, while viewing your issue, it is important to keep track of how the paper is oriented as it exits the printer.

Horizontal streaks or bands include unwanted streak(s) or band(s) oriented horizontally from left to right across the paper as it exits the printer.

Vertical streaks or bands include unwanted streak(s) or band(s) oriented vertically from the top to the bottom of the page on the paper as it exits the printer.
