PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE HP EDUCATION PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.

General Information:

The HP Education Program is brought to you by HP Inc. Participation and benefits shall be considered void where prohibited by law. Taxes may apply where required by law. HP Inc. assumes no liability for any user's participation that contravenes the laws or regulations of his or her state. Your participation is subject to present and future program rules. Your participation is valid only at hp.com. Private discounts, promotions and offers may only be earned and redeemed on participating products purchased in HP.com. By participating in the HP Education Program, you agree to receive email communications that may contain important information about your account, membership or special offers.

This program is open to students and their parents and/or guardians, as well as teachers, who reside in the United States. HP requires an email address to register for this program, and additionally reserves the right to confirm and validate users are eligible students for this program via electronic, mail or other means at any time.

HP Inc. specifically reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the HP Education Program, or any specific User's participation in the HP Education Program, if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper function of the HP Education Program, as determined by HP Inc. in its sole discretion. In addition, HP Inc. reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or permanently ban any specific User's participation in the HP Education Program if HP suspects that such User is conducting fraudulent activity to acquire or accumulate additional benefits including, but not limited to the creation of fraudulent user profiles, false referrals, etc.

Qualifying purchases

Qualifying purchases are defined as purchases of products from the following categories:

• Select Consumer PCs (HP, Pavilion, Envy, Spectre and Omen brands)
• Select Business PCs (Elite, Pro and Workstation brands)
• Select Consumer Accessories
• Select Third-Party Accessories
• Select Business Accessories
• Select Printers

Exclusions:

HP Education Program Purchases are separate from and may not be combined with the HP Loyalty / Referral program. Purchases are limited to and for End-user customers. Products may not be purchased by Businesses or Resellers with the intent to resell products through any sales channel including but not limited to retail, value-added or online channels.

This excludes free gift promotions, sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, personalized products purchased on store.hp.com, discounts, redemption of HP Rewards, redemption of gift cards, and fees or other excluded charges.

HP Education Program Purchases are limited to 2 PCs, 2 Tablets, 10 Accessories (including CarePacks), 2 Printers and 12 Supplies per calendar year. Exceeding these purchase limits can result in expulsion from the Program at HP’s sole discretion.

Effective March 1, 2023, ink and toner will no longer be eligible for program discounts.

Returns:

Product returns are dependent upon a returns authorization and will be reimbursed at the Dollar Value for which the product was purchased including applicable taxes and freight charged at the time of the original order. Returned products purchased at discounted prices will not be reimbursed at their standard list price.

Cancelled orders:

Cancelled orders will be refunded at the Dollar Value for which the product was purchased including applicable taxes and freight charged at the time of the original order.

Promotional offers:

HP Education Program members are also eligible for exclusive, time-sensitive offers and product announcements not available to general store customers. HP reserves the right to change or cancel exclusive offers at any time and at its sole discretion. HP Education Program offers may not be combined with other products offers, discounts, coupons or program benefits unless explicitly stated.

Privacy:

HP recognizes the fundamental importance of privacy, security and data protection to our customers worldwide. Please read our Privacy Statement to learn more about our privacy practices and the choices you can make about the way we collect and use information about you .

Termination:

Participation in the HP Education Program is a privilege granted to eligible HP users and as such can be suspended, revoked or terminated at any time by HP for any reason or for no reason. In the event of termination of your participation, all benefits including all accrued Loyalty Points, Rewards and other program benefits will automatically and immediately be forfeited.

Program Changes:

HP reserves the right to vary any or all of the terms of the HP Education Program, to amend these Terms of Service, or to terminate the HP Education Program, at any time without notice and without further obligations to users, including, but not limited to, modifications of standard discounts and exclusive offers earned on and after the date of the change. Notice of any such changes, amendments or termination will be provided to users via message or email, or by being posted on the store.hp.com website and will be effective immediately, unless otherwise stated in such notification.
