Online Sales Terms & Conditions
ATTENTION: Please read these Terms carefully as they apply to orders submitted by you either online or over the phone for products and services available in the HP store website or call centre (“HP Store”). Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms, Products and services purchased through the HP Store are sold and distributed by Redington (“Redington”) registered within Redington Saudi Arabia Distribution Co. under number 1010421743. By ordering online or over the phone you confirm that you agree to these Terms governing such purchases. Redington is an HP-authorized distributor and shall be responsible for accepting your orders, contracting with you, collecting payments, and supplying the listed products or services as per your order. - Prices, delivery charges and payment will be as specified in the HP Store, as determined when ordering online or over the phone. If applicable, Redington will list delivery charges as a separate line item on its invoices. Prices will include the applicable goods and services taxes as at the date that the order is accepted by Redington and the sale has been processed and concluded.
- Redington reserves the right to change prices published on the HP Store prior to acceptance of that order by Redington.
- Where there has been a typographical or other error in the price, Redington has the right to correct the price at any time prior to delivery. You will be notified of the corrected price. You may choose to pay the corrected price, however if you do not choose to pay the corrected price, then Redington may cancel your order and will issue a refund or credit to your account, if you have already paid.
- Prices quoted do not include installation.
- All orders are subject to acceptance by Redington. Redington will provide you with an order acceptance or rejection notice as soon as reasonably possible.
- You will specify a delivery address within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ONLY.
- Once Redington has accepted your order, it is final and binding upon you. Products purchased within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will only be shipped or delivered within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You may not export any products purchased at the HP Store.
- Redington reserves the right to cancel any accepted order prior to delivery in the event of any pricing error (as referred to above) or any material error outside of Redington’s control in connection with your order or other conditions published in the HP Store relevant for your order, or if any further verification of your credit conditions or records so warrants. If you have already made payment and your order is cancelled, a refund will be issued to your account.
- The anticipated time of delivery of any Products via the Website shall be indicated at the time that any order is accepted by us.
- No deliveries will be made on public holidays and during weekends.
- Delivery is subject to stock availability at the time with distributors and is dependent on geographical location.
- Delivery estimate will commence from when payment is reflecting in our bank account and not from time of order.
- Next business day delivery means that delivery will take place before 5:00 pm the following business day only once payment has been received.
- Subject to the client placing and paying for an order before 11:00 am during working hours.
- All orders 10kgs and more, will be delivered via road freight and delivery is estimated at 4 working days.
- Please note stock availability may fluctuate until then and on the odd occasion the supplier may run out of stock.
- We will process your orders as quickly as possible. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day.
- Title to hardware products passes to you upon the later of full payment and delivery of the products. Risk of loss and damage pass to you upon delivery.
- Availability of the products is limited, and products may not be available for immediate delivery. You will be contacted if the product is no longer available or if there will be a substantial delay in delivering the products to you. If the products are no longer available, you will be contacted to discuss what (if any) alternative products are available. You will have the option to cancel or amend your order. If you have already made payment and your order is cancelled, a refund will be issued to your account. If your order is amended and purchase price changes, you will pay any additional amount due in accordance with the payment terms set out in these Terms or you will be issued a refund to your account.
- Products and services acquired by you under these Terms are solely for your personal use and not for immediate resale or sub-licensing.
- The products are capable of retaining user-generated data.
- You should make periodic backup copies of the data, files and programs stored on your products, including hard drives and storage devices, as a precaution against possible failures, alteration, or loss of the data.
- Before returning any product for service (including repair), be sure to back up data and remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information. Data may be lost during service (including repair).
- You should maintain a separate backup system or procedure that is not dependent on the products so you can reconstruct lost or altered files, data, and programs.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password in respect of the Store.
- All HP branded products are covered by the applicable HP standard warranty applicable for Saudi Arabia, according to the terms and limitations specified in the warranty statement bundled with such products. You may have other statutory rights.
- Products may have been manufactured using some refurbished components or may have been used internally for reliability or performance testing.
- Replacement products or parts may be new or reconditioned or refurbished or comparable versions of the defective item.
- HP does not warrant that the operation of products will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Except to the extent prohibited by law, HP is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions intended for the product.
- Should the product fail to function in the manner set out in the HP standard warranty statement, the product may be returned for warranty support within two (2) years of the delivery or such other period as may be stated in the limited warranty statement.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning goods for warranty support. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
- If a product is faulty, you need to let us know before returning it to us. We will gladly make arrangements for the faulty product to be returned to us for testing. If no fault is found, the product will be returned back to you and an assessment fee might be charged. Should the unit prove to be faulty, depending on the fault and the product supplier, we may send the unit in for repairs or alternatively we may offer you a replacement unit.
- Please check all products delivered to you and do NOT accept delivery of any product that is visibly damaged. Should you accept a product and only later discover that the product is damaged, you need to report this within 24 hours, so that we can assess if the product damage occurred post-delivery.
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear, including products that have been damaged or altered in any way either by you, or anyone that is not an employee of Redington or the product's manufacturer, will not result in any product repair, replacement or refund.
- This is applicable within two (2) years of the delivery.
- A product having hardware failure due to manufacturing defects within a period not exceeding 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of invoice and not repairable will be treated as DOA. In the event of a DOA, the consumer should contact the HP Service Center. The first attempt shall be to repair and restore the product.
- To be able to claim DOA the following aspects are taken into account:
- The fault prevents the product from optimum performance
- While returning your product, you should ensure that the original packaging, documentation and all the accessories, including keyboard, mouse, charger, battery, cables, cartridges, paper trays, USB receiver and original packaging are available for return.
- There should not be any physical damage to the Product, including dents, cracks, leakage of fluid, scratches or marks.
- Attach a copy of sales slip inside the box with the following information: HP Report Number, name, surname and contact details of the customer, serial number, part number and description of the defect or failure.
- In case you notice the package contents missing or find physical damage while unpacking (dents, bumps, cracks, leakage of fluid, scratches) you should immediately contact the HP service centre and arrange for sending the equipment back to the designated location
- Non- defective Products- Right to “cool off”:
- Products which are NOT defective or damaged or which you found to be unsuitable, can be returned within 7 days from date of delivery, provided that the Products have not been opened and the packaging is in its original condition and you are able to produce the original invoice/ credit card/ debit card slip as proof of purchase. You will be hold liable for any damage caused to the Products whilst it is in your possession. Return shipping fees will be charged, unless the ordered product has not yet been delivered.
- HP software products are subject to HP’s standard licence terms posted in the HP Store. Non-HP software products and, exceptionally, some HP software products may be subject to different licence terms, as provided with such products.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition implied or imposed by the Saudi Law which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
- Save for any rights you may have at law which cannot be excluded, limited or modified, including your consumer guarantee rights (and referred to above):
- no warranty is given that the operation of products will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- no responsibility is taken for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions intended for the product;
- no liability is taken for loss of data as it expects you to make appropriate arrangements to back up your data;
- no liability is taken under the Terms for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise;
- and any term or condition of your order which is any way inconsistent with or in addition to these Terms will not be applicable or binding unless otherwise agreed in a written agreement and any failure to object will not be considered a waiver of these Terms.
- Nothing in this Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury (including to the extent caused by its negligence) or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law
- The maximum aggregate liability under the Terms whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, save for any rights you may have at law which cannot be excluded, limited or modified, including your consumer guarantee rights contained, shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the HP branded products in question.
- HP and Redington may and / or will process your personal data as joint controllers for the purposes of communicating with you, providing products and/or services to you, responding to your enquiries or complaints, providing you with information and/or updates on products, offering services and/or promotions, and other purposes required to operate and maintain e businesses. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the performance of a contract (i.e. the provision of products and/or services to you). HP and Redington may also process your personal data on the basis of your given consent, their legitimate interests or compliance with applicable laws. - HP and Redington may disclose the personal data you have provided to us to our third party service providers, agents and/or our affiliates or related corporations, and/or other third parties whether sited in Saudi Arabia or outside of Saudi Arabia, for one or more of the above-stated Purposes. We will also transfer your personal data outside of Saudi Arabia to our central customer data storage and processing servers located overseas and share your personal data with our related corporations for the Purposes. In case of any transfer outside Saudi Arabia, the receiving country will provide an adequate level of protection to the personal data.
- HP and Redington are committed to ensuring that your personal data is processed and stored securely.
- HP and Redington will delete your personal data when no longer necessary for the Purposes, when HP and Redington have no legal basis to process your personal data, and when no legal obligations to keep your personal data apply.
- You have the following rights: rights to access, erasure and rectify your personal data, rights to restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and, where applicable, the right to data portability. Where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can exercise your rights by submitting a request to HP through the form available at https://www.hp.com/us-en/privacy/ww-privacy-form.html or by submitting a request to Redington through www.redingtongroup.com/mea . You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

- As part of our efforts to ensure that we properly manage, protect and process your personal data, we will be reviewing our policies, procedures and processes from time to time. We reserve the right to amend the terms of this section on Protection of Personal Data at any time and at our absolute discretion.
- You are deemed to have acknowledged and agreed to any amended version of this section on Protection of Personal Data if you continue to use the Website after the changes have taken place.
- Products obtained under these Terms may be subject to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other government export control laws and regulations. You must comply with those regulations whenever you export or re-export controlled products or technical data obtained from Redington or any product produced directly from the controlled technical data.
- Products are manufactured for standard commercial uses and are not intended to be sold or licensed for use in critical safety systems, in hospitals in situations where uninterrupted performance is desirable or in nuclear facilities.
- Redington is not responsible for delay or failure to perform under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control.
- Each party will treat and hold confidential information provided by the other party which is marked as confidential or proprietary.
- Redington may subcontract the performance of services to qualified service suppliers.
- All documents referred to in these Terms are incorporated into these Terms and are available from Redington upon request.
- Any customer site access requirements will not be enforceable to either increase the obligations or liabilities or reduce the rights under these Terms of Redington, its officers, employees, or subcontractors.
- Promotional offers and prices are for a limited time only, subject to the promotion terms & conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms and conditions stated herein may be varied, altered or superseded (as the case may) in the event of any promotion or special deals, at HP’s absolute discretion.
- HP and Redington shall not be liable for any failure and/or delay on their part in performing any of its obligation under the present Sales Terms & Conditions and/or for any loss, damage, costs, charges and expenses incurred and/or suffered by the You by reason thereof if such failure and/or delay shall be result of or arising out of Force Majeure Event set out herein. Explanation: "Force Majeure Event" means any event due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of HP and/or Redington, including, without limitation, unavailability of any communication system, sabotage, fire, flood, earthquake ,explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes, lockout, and/or industrial action of any kind, breakdown of transportation facilities, acts of government, governmental orders or restrictions breakdown and/or hacking of the Website and/or contents provided for availing the Products and/or services under the Website, such that it is impossible to perform the obligations under the Sales Terms & Conditions, or any other cause or circumstances beyond the control of HP and/or Redington hereto which prevents timely fulfillment of obligation of HP and/or Redington.
- Any contract or dispute arising in connection with Terms will be governed by laws in force in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia..
