About HP and HBCUs

When a company’s culture enables you to belong, innovate, and grow, you’re inspired to bring your best ideas to the table every day. As part of our partnership with the National HBCU Business Deans Roundtable, HP’s business-case competition is one way we’re investing in students who are ready to step up and reinvent not only the business landscape, but mindsets, too.

The Challenge

Jumpstart your entry into the real world of business, before you even graduate. Put your brightest ideas to work by crafting a solution for an actual HP business problem, and you could not only win premium technology prizes, but help boost your budding career.1

How to Compete

The Dean Teams

Business deans from National HBCU Business Deans Roundtable member institutions will select a small team of students — of any major — to represent their schools. These teams will submit their initial proposals for solving a real-life HP business challenge, with the top 5 teams advancing to the final round of virtual presentations to determine first, second and third places.
