Excellent Monitor
Very high quality monitor. The resolution is the highest and colors and contrast perfect. Makes reading text for long periods of time less strenuous. It Is an eyes saver. The incorporated connection hub in the back makes connectivIty to external devices easy and saves you another device taking space in your desk. The fully adjustable support is well designed and I love the fact that lowering the monitor up and down is so easy. I just wished that for it will include speakers.

BIG difference from my previous monitor
I'm a photographer and videographer and before I bought this I was using a generic monitor that I got on sale, no frills. I purchased this monitor because I was anticipating pairing it with an HP gaming computer but it arrived pretty quickly so I hooked it up to my laptop while I await the computer. Wow. BIG difference and very hi-def and true color. My editing quality and accuracy has improved and there are so many more menu options than a generic monitor. Definitely worth the price!

Flexable Versatile Monitor
I currently have a Alienware 24" monitor that actually measures 23". I bought that when I got my Alienware Aurora ALX several years ago. I've been wanting to go a bit larger screen with at least the same flexibility as my Alienware monitor. This has all of that and more, being able to position the screen vert. is great. Lots of different hoop up capabilities so I can easily plug in my HP Omen 17 laptop as well. It was a no brainer set up with no issues at all. From out of the box to set up and running in less than 10 minutes.

Excellent Monitors for the Price
I bought two of these monitors to replace my older Samsung 4K monitors. When I fired up the HP monitors and put them next to my older Samsung monitors the difference was immediately apparent. The colors were more vibrant and the picture quality was sharper. Not that the Samsung monitors are bad, they just can't compete with the HP monitors with HDR. I would highly recommend these monitors to anyone who needs to replace their monitors.

Love It!
Love the style, crisp color and clarity of this monitor. Also really like the smooth and simple style of the stand. I really like that they tilt, swivel and can be turned vertically. One of the best features, is how easy you can use the joystick toggle in the back of the monitor to make changes. Lightyears easier than my old monitor. Love this monitor, would purchase it over and over again!

Worth every penny
I cannot emphasize enough how this monitor has improved my home office! I don't even use my laptop screen and I find that I can have 3-4 tabs open side-by-side and still see everything clearly. I was a bit intimidated by the size at first, but it was easy to set up and I have adjusted to it quickly! Working from home is so much better with this monitor.

Ordering, shipping and received with ease. Well packed. Very easy to connect and set up. The colors and resolution are great. Being a 4K is far better than what I had. I bought these for photographs I take. Also for a couple other software applications that require detail. I would recommend these.

Great monitor!
I just bought a pair of these and they look great. I only have a couple of weeks on them but the colors and brightness are sharp and I especially like the very narrow bezels which provide a more seamless dual-display experience than my other (older) setup of dual Z27s displays. I anticipate ordering another pair for another family member as well.

Nice monitor with some glare issues.
A good monitor that replaced a curved widescreen when I discovered just how delicate they are by breaking it trying swap some cables. Great color, even at 50% brightness, though had to turn of hardware acceleration on some apps, otherwise they would wash out if other apps were trying to use different color profiles (for instance a browser and an MMO at the same time). Not sure if it is the monitor or a driver update, but never had the problem before this one. And, of course, after all this time Windows still doesn't handle external monitors on notebooks well. But the only real problem I have with the monitor itself is I prefer dark mode, and with a dark background on the screen the amount of glare if there is light behind me can make parts of the screen hard to read, fostering the eye strain that dark mode was meant to avoid.

Excellent 4K usb-c display for a reasonable price
Excellent display. The 4K display makes it really nice to watch movies, the usb-c power delivery reduces cable cluttering, the large 28-inch size is perfect for software development. The brightness is also great. Tested and works seamlessly with Windows10/11, Ubuntu, and Macbook air M1.
The only downside I can think of is that it doesn't have the option to disable usb-c power delivery only. Currently you can disable it but with it other things will be disabled too.

Great for the closet artist and generalist
This is a worthy monitor for the artist. Since purchased I do not have to worry if edited photos will print well. I had a decent monitor previously, but it was hit a miss with prints. Having a calibrated 4k monitor show truer colors has been very helpful. Yes you can buy higher end, but this really hits the mark at a budget. Colors are outstanding and Easy Eye does not interfere with color rendition and actually works very well. The auto set seems to work really well, only occasionally need to make a manual adjustment with the joy stick settings on the rear. You can game, but don't expect a high performance presence. There is a hub on the rear of the monitor for all your connection needs. Only minor item I have seen is startup is a bit wonky, but that is more about patience vs end result.

Awesome 4k Monitor
This is an awesome 4k monitor. Sturdy metal stand. Very bright, vibrant colors.
Power delivery via Monitor and USB HUB.
Everything is so good about this monitor. Only thing I don't like about this monitor is, joystick on the back side of the monitor, so if you're like me using it for 2 computing devices, then it's very inconvenient to press input source on the back of the monitor especially when you have 2nd monitor sitting next to it, my other LG monitor has controls at the bottm of the screen.
2nd thing I wish it has is faster on/off. I have dual monitor setup, everytime I wakes my computer, my 2nd monitor always becomes primary and ready to enter password and after full 3-4 seconds this beefy monitor will wakes up and becomes primary.
Other than these 2 complaints, I'm extremly satisfied with this monitor.

Fast and slow
Apparently, it is eager to save energy and powers down quicker than I expect. And, the scene is slow to light up when I hit the [space] bar. Put the colors and rapidity of refreshes while I'm computing is superb.

Major issue for this model
Overall these monitors are pretty cool, however one major problem is that you constantly have to unplug the power input and plug it back in because something in the monitor tells it that the display ports arent connected. This gets very tedious and annoying and I found online that other people have this problem as well.

Not Intended For Macs
I bought this monitor to connect first to my MacBook Air and then to a Mac mini. In both cases, the USB hub inside the monitor was basically worthless. It worked rarely if at all. The monitor worked great with both the MacBook and Mini. The picture is bright, sharp and nice. But for picture alone, I could have spent $150 less and gotten a monitor without a USB hub. Even worse, HP has no driver updates and no info on the web to fix this issue. I don't think this product is really intended for Mac users.

Nice monitor with beautiful color and resolution
This is a beautiful monitor. The simple but functional fully adjustable stand is very nice. Depending on whether I am working with documents or multimedia there is an available preset color choice that works best for my aging astigmatic eyes. I used to get headaches using just the chromebook I use for work, now the headaches are gone. Twice now I got a sudden "flickering" across the screen that went away by itself. The first one happened for a few minutes but the second one was pretty short, maybe a couple seconds, I hope it was just my connection, otherwise I'd be very disappointed.

USB C (DP1.2, 65W) graphics card required.
Missed the importance of USB C w/r/t resolution and powering the USB peripheral ports. Unfortuantely, my Z6 G4 (with the Nvidia P1000 card) has 4 DP1.4 ports, which are insufficient to fully support this otherwise splendid monitor.

Good monitor, but bad connection
The display is generally OK. However, sometimes when I connect it to the m1 MacBook Air via the supplied usb-c cable, the usb hub of this monitor is not working. I have to unplug the monitor several times to make it working again. It can be very annoying.

Great screen, USB hub is can only do USB 2.0 with
This is a great looking screen on the outside. More importantly, the screen itself is stellar. Excellent resolution and screen quality. The integrated USB hub unfortunately is only OK. I was hoping to replace the external docking station with this hub but the hub cannot sustain USB 3.x speeds when you run the monitor at full hi resolution. Also, the external mouse usb dongle did not like it and work with it. Thus, I had to switch the speed of the hub to USB 2.x speed and could not get rid of the external docking station. Otherwise it's a great device. Looks great and works great. I tried it via the Thunderbolt cable but now use it with the display port with an external docking station.

Great picture
I have had this monitor for a couple weeks now and love the picture, the sharpness and clarity is top notch. the passthrough sound is a great feature since i have more than just my pc connected and wanted to use my speakers for all of them without a receiver. the only gripe i have with this monitor is the joystick for the menus is on back. so switching inputs is a pain in the butt. auto input works but only if the device you are using is powered off and then it'll switch to the active device automatically.

I bought this monitor a week ago because of all the features. I remove 1 Star because I don't get the size that I need. I have to return it because the size is too big for me to use at home. If you are a big screen lover this monitor is the one for you.
HP needs to think about building 24-inch 4K also.

HP can only make decent printers - not monitors!
Very poor HP customer service. Receivede faulty monitor with green tint.
The green tint would not go away with any setting.
Called customer service.
After hours on the phone wit them - i was told that its my video card that makes image green.
I was transferred to PAID service, where they told me they are going to charge me for support.
What?
My $500 monitor is defective on arrival, and yet they make me belive that is is my fault, and yet - i bave to pay for it????
Monitor went back to Best Buy the next day.
Bought Dell monitor instead - works flawlessly with same computer and setup.
No to of any color whatsoever.
Conclusion: 1) HP should stick to making printeds, not high end 4k monitors
2) never deal with HP support - as they will ask for your $$$
To try to help you. Unheard of!

Does this monitor display UHD at 50Hz? I have some UHD Samsung Monitors that will only accept UHD at 30 and 60Hz, so need to be sure 50Hz works before purchase.

I have a motherboard which can power the screen through the USB-C upto 35w. Can I power this monitor through the UBB-C concurrently woth the display?

The HP U28 4K HDR Monitor can then keep a laptop charged, if the laptop has the proper USB-C Power Delivery Port, via the built-in USB-C ports. Since there are USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A ports on the monitor - will it work as a hub in form of KVM? E.G. I connect both my desktop PC and Mac 16" to each their display port, and then connect my keyboard and mouse to the USB-A, will I be able to switch?
