Super Fast
I have been using my new laptop for the last three weeks and have been very impressed with the machines performance. This laptop replaced my previous machine which was equipped with Ryzen 3 whilst this machine is still operational it does tend to have a mind of its own these days hence the new laptop. Upgrading to Ryzen 5 has made the laptop Super Fast and I certainly recommend it.

Esta padrísima la computadora. El teclado se siente muy bien, la pantalla tiene una gran resolución (a lo mejor le pudiera faltar un poco de brillo NITS, pero nada grave), el sonido es muy bueno, y es muy rápida. Si veo más adelante cambiar le ram por 2 de 16gb para hacerla más rapida pero eso es todo. Me encanto la computadora.
La mochila esta super super bonita. Me cabe todo lo que necesito y ha sido muy práctica para llevar mi computadora, stand, y todo lo necesario para trabajar en cualquier lugar. Me encanta que HP haya reciclado basura del mar para hacer la carcasa de la computadora y la mochila. Ambas tiene una excelente calidad.

Nothing I can fault
Great laptop. My use of it is slightly unusual: I use an HP Desktop and smartphone for most things and just use the laptop for monitoring my CCTV system from the living room. I never really take it anywhere but if I did it would be nice and portable. I could have bought a less powerful machine but I think to monitor 8 cctv camera streams needs a reasonable processor so best not risk it.
The only thing I would have liked is an Ethernet port but a USB adapter is easily added for a few quid and a way of stopping one of the cats from sleeping on the keyboard.

Producto con defectos
El producto se recibió conforme. Llevó dos semanas usándolo y el screen touch no funciona desde el primer día. Al abrir muchas páginas en el buscador y utilizarlas, la laptop se traba y no responde adecuadamente, tomando más de 2 min en algunos casos de volver a la normalidad tal cual como un ordenador antiguo lleno de archivos. Necesito ayuda.

Really bad computer
I bought mine in June 2022. The entire time, crashes non stop as if it's not actually compatible with Windows. Doesn't seem to hold a charge very much, either. Pretty much needs to stay plugged in. Support was not helpful. I really needed this for work and I guess I'm back in the market - I'll try something besides HP next time.

Fast but freezes often
I bought two of these laptops in June. I loaded AVG security products on them and thought that was the reason the PCs went to the "Black Screen of Death" and required a hard reboot. YouTube videos also resulted in numerous lockups. HP Support sent me two Win11 memory sticks so I could reload the operating systems. This wiped all the memory, reinstalled the OS, and resulted in even more black screens/freezes. This also told me that the AVG products had nothing to do with the problem. HP replaced the motherboards on both laptops. I installed Quicken on one, but only our files on both. When the PC goes to sleep it requires a hard reboot because it won't wake. YouTube videos have also caused it to freeze. At this point, I don't know whether I have received bad motherboard replacement, bad Ryzen processors, or Windows 11 Home is a bad operating system. On the good side, the PCs load fast, the graphics are very good, and they are light and easy to carry. I would be quite happy if the "freezing" problem were solved.

Easy and functional.
Plug into USB port on laptop and plug in the cat6 rj45 cable and you are connected. Nothing else to do. I was worried about the laptop world no longer supporting the RJ45 Ethernet , There many valid usecases where this is required. Understand the laptop makers want to make the product cheaper and just pass the expense on to the consumer.

Dies too quickly
This laptop is nice and sleek. I love the big text buttons. However, the battery dies so quick. My old laptop which is already 4 years old lasts longer. I have to plug it in everyday because it starts to drain quickly. I do not use Wi-Fi on it either, only ethernet connection. It is also very expensive for it not being touch screen and dying so fast.

My new HP Laptop
I haven't had a new computer since 2015 and I am loving my new computer. The speed is awesome! The functionality is crazy. And the way that I am able to sync all of my passwords through my Google account is so great!! I am in heaven!!! The best computer I have ever had! I love it!!

Pros & Cons
Pros: It's very fast; like other Pavilions, great design and with streamlining, it's much lighter. Camera and screen have great high definition. Web camera recognizes type and, although you cannot flip the view out of mirror image, it flips the type so that it reads correctly.
Cons: No more optical drive (buy an external one to read dvds and cds) or phone jack (buy an external one as wifi is not as reliable as plug-in modem and often goes out--quickly fixed by running a troubleshoot network function--this is a chronic problem that has nothing to do with my wifi, as other devices have no problem). The web camera runs at "variable frame rate" (VFR) which is incompatible with Adobe Video Editing so that even converting a webcam video to "constant frame rate" (CFR), using a software from another company, does not fix audio lagging behind video. In essence, if you make webcam videos and edit with Adobe, you are no longer able to edit.
Certain functions are fixed and cannot be changed: you can't remove "chat" from your pinned apps. There is no option to remove a PIN that you have to type every time you open your computer--if you are the only user, this is ridiculous.
By default, all of your docs are set to back up on the Microsoft cloud; you can disable this easily, but you have to be aware to do it if you don't want Microsoft to share all your docs.
In short, be aware before you buy this computer. The speed is great, but there are definite losses from older Windows 10 computers.

Tengo una pavilion de 13 pulgdas y las teclas tienen mejor firmeza en la escritura.
Esta PAVILION 15-+eh1021la tiene el teclado más suelto, el teclado de la barra espaciadora se siente simple y sin firmeza. El color de las letras debería ser de otro color como las de una elitebook.

Excelente máquina con la calidad que nos tiene acostumbrados HP. Muy completa, excelente procesador y suficiente memoria que excede la mayor parte de los requerimientos de un usuario promedio. La única característica que me hubiera gustado que tuviera es la del teclado retroiluminado (el término "luminoso" en las especificaciones llega a confundir al usuario).

Senior Citizen Review
I am used to a large screen on a 5 year old computer so this takes time to adjust. It has a wireless connection to the printer. My age, 91, is another complication. Do you have any aids for senior citizens? I used HP programmable calculators years ago.

Malfunction Laptop
I bought this laptop for a good price. However, it seem like the quality of the laptop I also got lower like the price it got, $670. The laptop just keep gone black while working and even when I run a really old game left 4 dead. I believe with strength of the CPU and GPU this was definitely an easy task. Honestly, I felt like that discount was a scam. Now I am waiting for a refund since I had sent the product back for inspection.

nice unit, nice large screen, only trouble at different times the screen will go black and cannot get it to come back on unless I reboot the computer, the power light stays on, but the screen is black. It doesn' t seem to be doing it as much as it did. No sure to how to wake it up if it's going into sleep mode.

A general laptop this great, but slightly damaged
The laptop is great by all regards, however, sometimes when I plug it in to charge the screen goes, besides having a mini heart attack each time, the laptop is generally well priced for how powerful it is and can do a wide selection of things pretty well so I would give it a 9/10

HP Care Pack = Virtual Assistant = No Support
Laptop is faster than my old Pavilion, but Windows 11 isn't completely stable. The PC locks up and cannot be revived without a hard reboot every so often. I purchased the HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub and the HP Care Pack. I thought the HP Care Pack would provide Tech Support if I had problems, but there is no telephone number to call and only a "Virtual Assistant" = NO SUPPORT.

Extremely disappointed with this laptop. I have had nothing but problems with it since I had my IT people hook it up. Won't work with my HP Printer, keeps randomly shutting down. My IT company has spent hours trying to resolve with downloads and updated drivers to no avail, basically shutting down my business and costing more in labor than the computer cost. I have always been a HP person, but this is the poorest quality I have ever seen.
