A great replacement
The reason I chose the HP Pavilion Desktop TP0-2155m was the specifications of this computer. It included a 256 GB PCIeNVMeSSD, Ryzen 3 processor, DVD drive,1 tb data drive and Windows 11. I purchased this computer when HP had a flash sale. My other computer is nine years old. The only problem I encountered was when I installed AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. After I installed the the software I had to reinstall the stock video graphics driver which I downloaded from the HP website.This computer is much faster than my old computer. This computer suits my needs of office work, audio editing, light video editing and photo management.

Not happy
This machine, has by far been the most difficult to setup I have encountered. In the past I have had XP, windows 7 and windows 10, with no setup problems. I finally got my HP printer to work, on this machine only to have it quit a short time latter. This has happened three times so far. Meanwhile the printer works fine on the 7 and 10 computers. Microsoft should go back to the 7 and start over again.

Delivered product was as advertised. Almost !! The front USB ports are USB 3 so that was a plus. Set-up was quick. There are the expected set up procedures but the Start-up went easy. A little problem getting some programs to load to the 2 TB hard drive which is the "D:" drive but not really difficult. Fast machine !! Fast delivery!! Reviewer not compensated for opinions.

Bought this a month ago, very disappointed in the quality. The bluetooth keyboard worked, sorta, then stopped working. Reboot and it worked, reboot then it wouldn't. Decided not to return it because that's another hassle. Used an old keyboard with a USB connector.. The input for headphones does not work, tried two different head phones, both of which worked on other PCs. The HP Pavillion didn't recognize they were plugged it, unlike the other PCs. This was annoying but now it was too late to return it. Piece of junk.

Great computer!
This computer is great! It comes with that AMD Ryzen 5 5600g (cpu) that will excel you through your everyday tasks quickly, casual gaming & some 3D tasks. 16GB of RAM is great. Ample storage with the 256GB SSD & 2TB HDD. Still learning the two drives; they're a little confusing. It can display at great resolutions; you can get up 4K without much noticeable lag or loading! Also, the silver front gives a neat fresh look. Boots up & restarts very quickly. Windows 11 is okay. It is a very good PC, especially for the price. We recommend this PC!

Why I ordered this product
I was looking to replace my old HP PC that was "telling" me it was on it's last legs. For once I wanted to be in control and not wait until it died. I wanted one with a DVD-R and card reader. I appreciate that it's smaller than my older model. It was easy to set up.

Great little machine
Very nice machine. Bought this to replace my wifes 10 year old HP Pavilion with a Pentium Dual Core(!) that she uses to work from home. I Installed a bigger SSD, and her graphics card, cloned her data over and Voila! Great little box. Boots fast and is super quiet. Only strange issue I had it that the covers over the expansion slots are actually made as part of the case and have to be broken off with pliers. That was a new one on me. Otherwise, no issues.

Love our new HP Pavilion desktop. It responds with lightning speed. Screen has vivid color. Comes with Microsoft 365. Takes a bit if time to adjust, but we enjoy it. We feel like we got a lot of computer for our money (It was on sale).

So far, I really like it. The only thing I would change, is I would rather have had a 500 SSD, rather than the 256.
But I have been keeping most of my files on the included internal 2TB HDD. It boots up fast. I like the low discounted price. I had shopped local, but could not find anything like this, with Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM, included internal HDD for data storage , and the included built in Optical DVD Writer is +. (it's there if it's needed). And a discounted price.
Very happy with the purchase, so far. Oh: I asked for the "free shipping". If you get that, be advised that they will get it to you within the time frame that they state, but don't be concerned if the Carrier does not say they have received the item right away. It appears that they ship on scheduled days, rather than daily, to keep the costs down. That's ok; they will get it to you within the stated time frame, and at the "free shipping" included price. A good deal, for sure, if you check shipping prices these days. Mine came within 5 days of the order date. the entire process was very good. Yes I would buy it again, and on HP.com/Store. Oh: I replaced another HP Desktop PC, that I bought around 2012. The performance of that one has been flawless. I decided to buy a new one, because all of the software support for the old one is going away. Personally,I don't think you can beat HP, for value, performance and reliability.

New stuff, while better, is sometimes a trying exp
I am delighted with how quickly the unit comes on line and how it shuts down in only 5 to 7 seconds. My previous unit (a Dell with Windows 10) would take 30-sec. to turn on and sometimes 2-minutes to shut down. I am still learning the Windows 11 features while how to avoid the cloud and trying not to incur any additional expenses.

Functioning fine to date (about 10 days). DVD/CD drawer seems a bit fragile compared to my older computers. Keyboard that came with the computer is very small, my fingers literally touch each other trying to use the keyboard. With my hand stretched out I can hit the #1 key with my thumb and the backspace key with my pinky finger.

Loaded home system
Finally a home computer that works correctly out of the box with all the features I wanted...and did not cost more than a car payment. Had 3 main features I wanted...real hard drive, DVD drive, and 4 USB ports on front of tower. Only gripe I have is a lot of junk preloaded software that I had to get rid off. Overall great computer for the price.

This computer is fast and was easy to setup. The only thing I don't like is there is only one DVD drive and no way to add one unless you use an external drive. So far I haven't had any trouble with this computer. One other thing is that the USB ports are in front, not sure if I like that. Time will tell. I had this for about a month now, working great.

Why are 2 of the 4 USB ports in the back panel blue indicating USB 3.0 when HP specified all as being USB 2.0? A customer will be deceived in believing USB 3.0 is available in the back panel if he does not check the HP specifications.

I am a gamer, so how does this hold up to heavy graphics games?

This HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2165z uses 3.5-inch hard drives. 3.5-inch drives are used in desktops and 2.5-inch drives go in notebook computers. The best solution for this is an external hard drive encasement that plugs in via USB.
