Pleased with purchase.
Very pleased with my purchase. I don't use wi-fi so that technology is of no concern for me or use for me. I have a cable directly from my computer to the printer and it prints quickly once the print button is pressed. I purchased this based upon reviews and so far, it's working great.

Paper Jam Error Message Glitch
Bought the printer last week, set it up, printed the one page, and encountered a paper jam error message. Followed the HP recommended recorded jam instructions, and found no paper jams. I reset the printer per the same recording, and the printer still flashed paper jams. Registered the printer, used the printer app for customer support, and discovered the printer's warranty is expired. I JUST bought this printer last week directly from HP. There are no LIVE customer support options especially for a printer with an expired warranty. I've spent 3 hours trying to resolve this. I don't recommend this printer nor HP. I won't be purchasing through HP again.

Linux compatible
This printer is compatible with Linux (Debian Bullseye). However may have to enable the testing repo and download HPLIP 3.22.10 to get the correct driver. The list of drivers on the HP Linux imaging and printing site appears not to take into account the latest version. The driver is also available on GIT.

Device is good. Closest thing to a basic printer. Annoying and unnecessary setup features.
We purchased this for an employee and it works well. Based on our search, this was the most affordable printer with the least amount of bells and whistles for one employee. Basically, we just needed your most standard printer. One of the key things we wanted was NOT a wifi only printer to keep things easier/simple. Based on the summary of specs, the connectivity list USB and wifi.
Took a star off because you MUST be connected to the internet to setup and you MUST have the HP app. Our wifi is open/public and our secured wifi is authorized for computers and/or mobile devices with a wifi/mac address, which the printer does not have. Lastly, our employee doesn't want to have to open an app to work her printer. Creating annoyance during setup For the sake of getting her job done, I created an account under my name and found a spare ethernet cable and port to finish setup. We installed the HP app on her computer. Again, device is fine, just annoying that you cannot just connect a printer to a computer anymore. This device needs internet to setup, an HP account/app, nor did it come with the USB cable. Frustrating from for a business point of view.

A 'Pick and Choose' Printer
We bought this for our business office and we were really looking forward to using a WIRELESS printer (yay)! Very nice that the printer came with some ink. After we set the printer up, including a download of the HP smart application on our desktops; the printer took a couple minutes to sync with our devices. Also, the printer played a game with us and 'pick and chose' which of our documents to print (not nice). The poor printer constantly had paper jam issues. We followed HP tech support's solutions, however, it consistently jammed any paper we requested for it to print. It's a small and delicate printer, so we were nervous when trying to pull jammed-paper from inside.

Fast after it starts
This printer takes a lil bit to get going but once it is printing it prints fast. I print some big print jobs and don't like sitting around waiting so I really like that it prints fast. I was really surprised how fast when I was printing on both sides. It's impressive. I recommend it for this reason more than any other. If you don't need an all in one this might be the one for you.

Excellent Laser Printer
This printer was easy to remove from the box and set up. You do need to have either a network printer cable or USB cable if you want it to be connected directly to the printer. You may also use the App to print directly from your cell phone. Printer was connected to a windows computer and the printer was detected. The tray and paper was also easy to install. The only down side was that if you need to print envelopes you need to remove the paper tray. I printed some company checks and they printed quickly and accurately. The printer works fast and prints clearly. I installed the app on my iPhone and it works easily. I highly recommended this printer as it is easily to set up and use. Connecting it to my wifi was very easy with the app. Just follow the instructions.

FAST printing
Reviewing this printer made me fall in a rabbit hole.First I need to say I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion So far this printer has not let me down. Prints pages alot faster than my previous model. The size of the footprint is great for a printer that can hold 250 sheets of paper. The hp printer also has a refillable tank for the toner ink which is a nice addition for someone that prints alot of pages daily, which I do. Next on my list is a smart tank color printer for home, as this blank ink printer is for my office. I can't wait to print some more pages off for the next year to see how long the tank of ink lasts

Fast and Convenient
My wife absolutely loves the new LaserJet Tank 2504dw printer. She has a daycare, so she has to manage daycare paperwork on a daily basis, so this black and white printer, has been a lifesaver. It’s also the perfect size, so we were able to put it in a common room. It was also very easy to set up and comes with an app, you can use. It’s also comes with enough black ink to last for over a year. We would definitely recommend this to all of our friends and family. Super Fast Printing
I recently had the chance to try out the HP LaserJet Tank 2504dw Printer. It was a mostly easy setup. I had a little trouble connecting with Wi-Fi initially, but that may have been a user error more than an HP issue. Once everything was connected, it was really easy to use the printer. Excellent Product for Home & Business
So far this has been a great printer! I enjoy the Bluetooth feature. I have been able to print from my laptop, and my phone. The only issue is the setup of the printer. The instructions were not straight to the point and I had to figure it out along the way. Other than that this printer is almost perfect! I’m in absolute LOVE with the printer. The set up was quick and easy, it was practically seamless! After about 5 minutes to get it configured and set up, I was able to print! Perfect Printer for small home office
I received the LaserJet Tank 2504dw printer at a discount in exchange for my honest review of the printer. I use this printer in my small home office which means I do not have much room for printers. This printer is perfect for the small space I have available. It works great with a paper feeder that is easy to load including any size of paper that you need to use. It prints well including printing on both sides of the page. I have not had to refill the ink but it is an easy process of refilling the ink instead of replacing a cartridge. You merely pour the ink into the tank. This is a perfect printer for my small home office and any home office.

I previously owned a 10+ year old LaserJet that was still functional but at the end of its life. I was very excited to upgrade to this new HP LaserJet tank printer since I am currently working in a hybrid position, so much of my time is still spent in my home office. I do keep work files at home, so having a reliable printer that can print out small or large files is important to me. It fits nicely in the corner of my L-shaped desk. I also enjoy not having to refill the toner cartridge regularly. What I really appreciate about this printer is the speedy rate at which it prints documents, even when double sided.The quality of the ink is good for the everyday business documents I need to print out. Lightening Fast Setup and Printing
The HP LaserJet Tank 2504dw printer is made to work! It is a compact printer that will look great sitting on your desk. The new HP toner tank system really takes the hassle out of resupplying. After you perform the standard HP printer setup which in my opinion is one of the easiest printer setups available, you will immediately have the ability to print high-quality two-sided black and white pages as fast as you can hit the print button. The easily accessible paper tray can hold up to 250 pages and easily converts to an envelope feeder or whatever custom-size paper you would like to print on. I have not used enough toner to have to refill it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. In order to refill the toner, you attach the new toner refill to the docking system on the printer, and the toner is emptied into the tank and you have very minimal waste and a huge supply of toner. I feel like printers were going in the wrong direction with high-cost refills that created a lot of waste but his new system is great for the consumer and the environment! Workhorse for Home and Office
I purchased this machine to assist me with working from home. I run a business so I often need to print black and white documents. I can print multiple copies here cheaper than taking to the printer for my repetitive forms. The quality of the print outs were clear with clean lines on the fonts. Long lasting ink will also allow my kids to use it for school assignments. The compact size fits very well on a shelf or desk. The app was simple to use and the printer added seamlessly. Was able to connect with laptop and phone with no issues.

Easy to Install, prints fast & clear, money saver
In the 90's I had an HP Laser printer that I loved. I used it for work, school and personal documents. The replacement printer was not an HP and was expensive to use as it went through a ton of ink. I decided to try this printer in hopes that it was like the old Laser Jet printer I had. This printer does not disappoint. I am a bit electronically challenged, but this printer was do easy to install. It literally took maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. This printer is so much smaller than my old printer. I was surprised how lightweight it is. The paper was easy to load. The copies print crystal clear. The only drawback is that it is black ink only. I have convinced myself that I really don't need the color ink. I have been printing a lot and have yet to replace the toner. With y old printer I likely would have been through a couple of cartridges by now. I love this mighty little printer.

Great Compact Laser Printer for a Home Office!
We print many pages a day for our home-based ecommerce business--invoices, packing slips, shipping labels, etc. Plus it meets all of our personal printing needs also. Was anxious to see how this printer performed, so set it up as soon as we received it. It has exceeded our expectations. It is so small and compact, yet it prints fast, accommodates a lot of paper, and the print output is very high quality. Could not be happier. Also has other super nice features, like how easy and seamless it is to connect to our wifi for wireless printer, and how much toner the printer comes with right out of the box. And two-sided printing is nice too so we can get by with less paper for most documents. Have only used for a couple weeks, but hopefully the toner will last as long as the box says. And it is nice that the toner comes in a container where we don't need to completely replace toner cartridges for every refill. Very happy with this printer from HP, and would highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a compact solution for fairly high volume printing. Great little printer!
I got this printer to print school work for my boys since they homeschool. I haven’t even started school yet and have already used it so much! I love it! It is super easy to hook up and connect to your electronics and wi-fi! I had another 3 in 1 and it was 2x the footprint and I couldn’t hook it up to my computers. So getting this laser jet tank has been a huge relief! I had it hooked up in less than 5 minutes and printing ! Print quality is clear and sharp although of course only black and white. I was very excited to have received this printer. The size is fantastic for my home office. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up and how quickly I was using it. I love that I can control it from anywhere in the house being wireless. It prints beautifully and also does both sides. As a writer I do a lot of printing and this is absolutely perfect for what I need it for. I love it!
We print a lot in my house. When we got out first printer, we had an unlimited budget and decided to go for a normal printer (printing, scanning, fax, etc). That was our first mistake. It uses so much ink and it feels like it rand out so fast to the point we probably printed a few color pages compared to what the ink box said.
Now, as soon as we opened the box for this printer, we decided to use it. We have printed coloring pages for my son, monthly calendar and more than 100 invoices. The ink on the paper still looks as hood as the first page that printed. Something my old printer seems to not get. Another thing I like was how fast and silent it is. I printed from another room and by the time I got to the room where the printer was, the paper had already printed. With my old printer, I could hear it a mile away and knew I could sit down for a couple more minutes before it even started printing lol
I also liked how the setup to print was so easy! We had a hard time seeing up the printer itself but I think that was our fault because we were so excited to print we just wanted to plug it and use it lol one of the things I don't like is that it's only black and white printer and it's just a printer. So that means we would have to keep our old printer. So now we will have two printers taking up space instead of one. Another thing I don't like was that you have to have the app to print. So that's another thing I had to download to my laptop and phone. I think even though it has this "cons", I can still enjoy this printer

Great Printer for normal black and white prints!
I received this free sample of this Hp printer and I love it. This printer prints very quietly, and fast, and is easy to set up. I will say upon unboxing I was a little confused because I didn't see an ink box. Nowhere does it say that the toner is already inside the printer. The setup was pretty easy. You scan a code and it walks you through the setup of the printer. Once you get it set it you are all set! I have multiple computers in my home so I tried it out from a few of them and each time it printed. This printer does print fast as well. It runs quietly so it is not like your typical office jet where you can sometimes hear it printing the pages. The one thing I didn't like about this printer is that it only prints in black. If that could be something that could be changed or upgraded then it would be an awesome product to use for all your printing needs. If you print for work and things are normally in black and white this would be the perfect printer.

Phenomenal Printer!
I received the HP LaserJet Tank 2504dw Printer in exchange for my honest review. I was anxiously awaiting this printer as I print several documents nearly every single day and with this printer having a Toner Tank System it delivers the lowest cost per page in black and white. As you can see from the pictures, Spongey was also anxiously awaiting this printer :). This printer is also pre-filled with up to 2 years of Original HP Toner which is a huge plus as this saves a great deal of time and money. The printer was extremely easy to set-up and connected to my internet seamlessly. I also love that it has the ability to hold a large amount of paper so I don’t have to continuously replace it so often. This printer really is phenomenal and has several great features, I would highly recommend it to anyone who prints a decent amount of documents. I printed a few pages and after it was done printing Spongey was concerned and looking for more pages to print, as you can see (lol). Another Spongey approved item, we are highly impressed with this printer! :)

Fast, efficient, economical printing
In the 1990’s we had an HP LaserJet printer until it eventually went out of support. I am so excited to be able to get back to using a LaserJet. The biggest reason is cost savings. The printer we replaced it with was a color inkjet. Even though we usually only print black and white documents, my family would still leave the setting on color, combining all the colors to make black, quickly depleting the expensive color cartridges. This LaserJet prints quickly, in duplex, and economically. It also is a small size at a small cost. Our family prints many documents, and this printer has efficiently handled the load.
The printer setup could not have been more straightforward. The HPSmart software was able to scan my network, find the printer, and do everything needed to make it available for printing. In full disclosure, I received this printer at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Great Printer!
I received the HP LaserJet Tank 2504dw Printer for my honest review. I was so excited to receive it after struggling to get several home printers to keep working with other brands! This printer was so easy to connect to my computer. The set-up was the easiest and quickest of any other printer I've added to date. I love that it prints quickly and holds paper in a try so my fur babies can't get to it! I also love the fact that it hold a large amount of ink and I don't have to replace it often. The only one downfall is that it doesn't have color, but that's not a deal breaker for me as I mainly print in black in anyways. This printer is a must for anyone that prints a large amount for school/work purposes. I would recommend to my friends and family!

I am a teacher, so I print a lot of things throughout the year. This printer came ready to go. It was easy to install on my Mac and I have already printed approximately 200 pages or so and it is still at full capacity for toner. I am very excited to use this throughout the school year. The setup on the computer is super easy to do. It is fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this printer to friends, family and colleauges. I look forward to saving money on toner as well. Economical printer and easy setup
I am very happy with this HP LaserTank. Setup was a breeze and using it is not overly complex. Biggest thing I like is that it can go up to 2 years without needing a refill. And when you do refill, HP says it only takes about 15 seconds. The printer quality is good and love it prints 2 sided to save paper. Overall I am very pleased with this printer! I received a free sample to review this product and I have to say I love it. I mostly check my emails and exchange documents on my cellphone so to be able to just print from my phone is the best. Scanning documents from my cellphone is very convenient as well. I’m able to crop the document to my liking and print copies or save to my computer. The printer also is a good save for a small office space.

Exceeded my expectations!
I received this printer to review and am I glad I was able to do so! First, let's start with the setup. The ink comes preloaded and the only thing you have to do is remove the plastic put the paper tray lid on and plug it in. I myself set this up on my wireless network but you can use an ethernet cable if you wanted to set it up that way as well. I went to the website directed in the manual and with a few clicks, it was all set up. It found it right away with no fuss. It then took me less than a minute to set up the app on both my Android phone and my iPad. I printed from both and it was perfect! Honestly, the easiest printer setup I have ever been through.
I love the integrated program that you use for the HP as well. I tested out printing some of the lined paper, images to color and cute activities that they have listed on that software site. They all came out amazing and are a neat addition to the printer.
The first thing I made sure to print out were my notes for school that I have on my Good Notes app and it was wonderful. They all printed in order, front and back with no errors and it was so fast! I also printed on card stock since I like to color free pages online and that came out perfect.
Overall I have to recommend this printer to anyone and everyone. I might even sign up for the automatic refill program since I imagine I will be printing things a lot more!

Heavy duty Tank!
I received a free sample of this printer, I must say it can handle lots of pages can seamlessly connect with WiFi and device if you don’t have a desktop near. if your looking for something heavy duty that can handle more than printing a few pages this is the printer for you can handle any of your office needs and refills toner exceptionally fast this is a solid printer!

Great for small office or home
I received this HP LaserJet Printer free in exchange for my honest review. I really like this printer, it was really easy to setup and connect to my laptop and prints really quickly and cleanly. Out of all the pages i printed the ink looks crisp and no bleeding. This makes a excellent at home office printer. Plus the ink is a lot better deal to buy more then the inkjet printer i had before. I would recommend this to anyone that prints a lot at home or has a small office.

It does have a female USB B 2.0 port in the back of the unit. You can use a USB A to USB B 2.0 cable, sometimes called a printer cable, to do a hardwired direct connection between a laptop and the printer.
