Screen panel type has limited viewing angles.
Screen panel type has limited viewing angles vertically. But not from the sides (horizontally). It is like the screen panel material was installed turned 90 degrees when cut to size. So I returned it. Also did not like the No-Backlit keyboard with very thin white font on black keys. Hard to see in dark rooms but guess they all are going to be like this. If I kept it I would place bold front stickers on the keys.

The laptop overall is light weight, good screen size, and holds battery well. One issue I really have with the laptop is that it is slow when loading at times. Which I would not expect with a brand new laptop that was built from scratch.

HP Laptop 14 Crashed before launching!
It crashed during set up! Support did not offer a replacement, but said to return for repair. So, essentially I was paying for a NEW laptop and would be getting a REPAIRED one! Buyer Beware!

I love this 14 inch HP laptop, the only problem is the curser sometimes no matter what setting I put it on, it lags behind a bit on slower or faster. It all seems the same but I can live with that.

Low End Laptop w/ Poorly Selected Materials
Good for average processing (internet browsing, word processing, etc). A bit expensive considering the specs. The material used on the laptop (black surfaces) absorb oil from your hands/fingers very easily; very difficult to clean for this reason. Poor material selection by HP.

Great system and value for the price. Fast Zen 3 Ryzen CPU and serviceable hardware for everything else with upgrades available for RAM and storage. Build quality on keyboard, screen, and chassis are very good.

Good for Now. But Experience Says It May Not Last
The laptop is brand new, so it is working. Let's see what happens in the future.
I have been using HP products for over 20 years, but their construction has been shoddy, with hinges built in mice breaking routinely. Indeed for 3 years I used Macs, and they were great. However, I refuse to pay Apple its exhorbitant prices.
My office used to employ HP products. However, b/c of the shoddy quality of your products, my colleagues have demanded a change and our CIO switched to Dell.

Portable, Sleek aesthetically good, HP quality
I like the feel of the surfaces, i like the size and weight, i like the built in camera cover, aesthetically it's appealing, I don't like the track pad, a built in mouse like stylus offering would be better than taking the real estate on the keyboard. Upgrading the keys to higher end components would be wonderful.
As always reliable HP quality I reward with patronage.
