Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy L. from Happy with my purchase I've used this HP Envy laptop for about a month. I purchased this model for ai video enhancing although I have yet to really dive in. My only 'complaints' are minor design preferences. The power button is nestled between the delete key and the camera key; I'd prefer it to be the outermost key so not so easy to accidentally hit it. The keyboard is beautiful but light silver lettering on somewhat darker silver keys makes it hard to see the letters even with the backlight on. I'd prefer function over beauty but still, I'm happy with my purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP ENVY 16 inch Laptop PC This laptop pc is a joke. As soon as I opened the pc, I immediately saw what was wrong with it. There is no numeric keypad. How can I use a laptop for accounting, finance and tax work without a numeric keypad? Fortunately, I spotted the deficiency right away and immediately returned it. Several days later and I am still waiting for a refund from HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Segmentality from Brief review after 1 week of use It is perhaps to soon to submit a review, but HP keeps urging me to do so. My early impression is that I really like this laptop--much more than my previous machine (a Galaxy Book that I purchased new and used for 3 years; a structurally unsound screen, a glitchy touch pad, and terrible keyboard made for a dreadful user experience). Fortunately, this Envy is beautiful and sturdy, has a wonderful keyboard and touch pad, a nice bright screen, and loud clear audio. This is my first HP computer. I'm digging it and wondering if I might stick with premium HP machines in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hugh W. from This HP Envy Laptop is a screaming beast! This HP Envy is my 5th HP laptop (in addition to 3 HP desktops) over the years and it is a BEAST! Amazing speed and intuitive features with high reliability and durability in a slim stylish case. Besides all that, the MAIN reason that I'd never consider another computer brand is HP's incredible technical support. Each one is knowledgeable with excellent communication skills. Easily accessed, they all seem to have a deep desire for customer satisfaction. My only criticism is with the PCMover package purchased with the unit. Most programs had to be reinstalled and their technical support was abysmal. Extremely disappointed with PCMover, but high 5's to HP!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by asdf_username from The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop I was so excited for this laptop because it has so many great features: a great/satisfying keyboard, OLED screen, good touchpad, can be customized up to an i9 processor, the laptop isn't too thick, and has a metal body. However, the speakers are on the bottom. What appears to be speakers on the side of the keyboard are actually air vents. The bottom of the laptop is not mentioned in any of the photos, and the guide that comes with the laptop appears to hide this information. Additionally, no where on the internet, not even on the hp website, is a manual for this laptop, that could've helped me determine this prior to the 3 weeks from purchase to delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeffinfishers from Sleek, stylish and powerful Well from someone who hasn't upgraded in 12 years or more it was time. I got rid of a tower and an older notebook and upgraded to this as my main home pc and on the road notebook, it's lightweight, stylish and my 16" screen is awesome. It's really powerful too as I run a lot of stuff at one time. Setup with Windows 11 was really easy and because I have Microsoft 365 at home and work, I didn't worry about transferring anything from the old computers. I just turned it on and logged into my accounts. Easy! I am loving this notebook and glad I got it as a replacement for two pc's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GaryAndTheComputer from Imperfect physical object, but computationally ok My laptop arrived with two physical problems. A part of the body, a plastic clip broke off at some point during assembly and was lodged between the face of the keyboard and the bottom of the laptop. It caused a bulge in the aluminum just near the left hinge where the monitor meets the body. Second, on the bottom of the laptop, the aluminum appears to be slightly weakened. There's not a "dent" per se, but there is a gradual indention where the bumper foot closest to the user is. The computer itself seems to be working fine, otherwise. But it's these imperfections that should be caught in quality control that make me question my purchase and will give me pause when it comes time to replace this laptop in the future. For the price I paid (with upgrades), I could've gone with a rival that we all know has unprecedented quality control.

Rated 3 out of 5 by garynaut from Assembly issue, needs QC, works well otherwise If you order a laptop, you will want to inspect it closely upon receipt for assembly issues. In my case, the laptop arrived with a noticeable bulge in the body just above the function keys, on the left side, near the hinge for the monitor. As it turned out, while being assembled, a clip that holds the body together had broken at some point and been lodged between the top and bottom pieces, causing the bulge. Unfortunately, this small error in assembly makes me wonder what else might be lurking inside that could cause an actual failure. HP needs to review their Quality Control procedures. Generally, in the first few days, the laptop does appear to be operable... I now just have a bad feeling about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VVCephei from Excellent Everyday Laptop The HP Envy 16t-h000 is an all around, impressive, midrange laptop for everyday home and business use. The laptop as configured on arrival gave me roughly 6 to 8 hours of battery life. With some optimizations, I was able to achieve consistent, 12+ hours of battery life before recharging! However, if I need to do CPU-intensive work which does drain the battery faster, I'll just keep it plugged in. After about 3 weeks of using this laptop for virtualization, application development, writing documents, and just surfing the web, I have experienced no lag with the laptop, no application crashes, and no issues with Windows 11.
