Second monitor that died after a few months.
If it works, it works great. After a few months, it just doesn’t seem to work anymore. This is the second monitor and same thing has happened. It doesn’t register the monitor is connected to my laptop. I tried swapping all cables, rebooting the computer, etc.
I just have it sitting on my desk and only use it 2-3 days a week, so it’s not like I’m hard on my equipment. So disappointing.

Three Stikes
I ordered the monitor. 1st one did not power on. 2nd worked for 10 minutes then quit. 3rd did not turn on. I gave up. The only thing I can say that was good was HP made it easy to exchange and finally gave a refund.

Turn it on?
The quick start instructions are fine but, as a person not familiar with monitors as I have been using a laptop forever, I did not know where the on/off switches were located. That led me to trying to turn on the monitor with the toggle switch very visibly located on the back of the monitor and then determining that the monitor was faulty. After an exhaustive search of the internet, I finally found where the on/off switches were located. I AM over 60 but I AM not totally inept, stupid or IT dumb. Or so I think. Anyway, the parts of the monitor could be shown better and included with the monitor and listed with arrows pointing to all viable inputs and switches etc. So my 4-star rating may be too high since all I have rated is the assembly instructions. As far as a picture quality, I can see the screen and it looks fine.

Hello, Thank you for your response to my previous inquiry, however I'm seeing that the documentation that you referred me to is for the E27 G4 rather than the E27 G5. Do you have a similar user guide for the E27 G5?

Can the HP E27 G5 FHD Monitor have the stand removed so that it can be mounted? I just purchased one and I can't figure out how to remove the square backing installed on the monitor to replace it with a support bracket. Thank you.
