Spend a little more money!
Have had one of these about a year. Started out printing from my desktop, that quit working after 2 months. Tried using my phone, worked another 2 months. Now I have to take my laptop to the office to print.
It's latest glitch? It had a paper jamb. I unharmed it and restarted. Now it prints the 24" axis on the 36" width of paper. Tried all the fixes mentioned online and it still prints the wrong direction, wasting paper!
I gave it a 2 because when it works it does a decent job.
One other glitch I almost forgot about. I opened the front door to change cartridges, it got locked up and I couldn't close it. HP sent me a new door to replace it. The day the door got there I was trying to see how to install it. I must have wiggled the door and held my tongue just right because it closed.

This printer was purchased to replace our t520. set up was easy and love that i do not have to load and unload the roll when changing to multisheet print. i do wish it had a tray for when printing to multi sheet instead of just falling into the fabric catch.

Nice printer!
This printer has been humming right along and printing very well with an exception - it was jamming as it was getting low on the paper roll - a quick visit to the helpful tips suggested we leave the front panel ajar...maybe to compensate for extra curly-ness of the paper(?). Anyway, all is good! Thank you :D

Needs more 'how to' videos or instructions
It seem like a great printer for someone that already knows how to use it. It does not recognize which paper to use, for example you can be printing oversize tabloid on a 36" roll. You have to manually change it and confirm each printing page, which is pain in the butt. Maybe it is just my lack of knowledge and it will take some time to learn my way around it. I bought it to save time of going to the printing shop but there's no time saving for now :(

Beautiful Printer
This is the nicest looking plotter printer I have ever seen! The woodgrain finish on top is a great touch. Looks great in the office and is so much smaller. Being a bit older, I was apprehensive about upgrading to a new printer, but this was very user friendly and the application has so many great features. I love the ability to do on-the-go printing best! It automatically switches form A1 to A3 without having to change the media source which is very nice. The quality of the blueprints are amazing and the lines are beautiful. To top it off it prints in half the time! I also appreciate that it uses less ink and produces less CO2! Recommended. My contracting company received this product at a discounted price in exchange for our honest opinions.

Great Tool!
As a small business owner of a construction company, I value tools. The HP DesignJet is a great tool to have in my small home office. The design is nice and it is compact so it doesn’t take up too much space. It was simple to set up. A lifesaver of a product
We are a small, family owned commercial electrical contractor. We were having to use an outside company to print out our drawings/blueprints/etc for projects. Needless to say, this printer is exactly what we need. We were able to print things out as we needed them and as many copies as we needed for both supervisors as well as our guys in the field. The printing quality is very clear and we're also able to print things to scale. Our company had been considering purchasing a printer like this for a long time, and had just never pulled the trigger. If we'd known how easy this was to both install and use and how high the quality was, we would have purchased one a long time ago.

I recently had the opportunity to try out this HP DesignJet Printer in return for my honest opinion at no cost , My first delight was the look and design, it was well thought in regards to space and functionality, Very easy to set up the directions are easy to understand, My favorite option is to print remotely using the app and wireless option. The quality is professional and a clear crisp picture which is a huge plus for me, I work with a lot of designers and contractors , The other option of 2 print sizes is another plus, You truly will love the woodgrain look and style it fits well in any office or home. Great Plotter!
I have been wanting a plotter for my business for some time now. I usually have to send my files to a printer, then go and pick them up or have them delivered. I was wasting time and money this way. I researched plotters and have been happy with all the HP products I have had to date. I went with the HP DesignJet T630- 36" wireless plotter. This plotter was a breeze to set-up using the HP directions, it quickly connected to my wireless system and I was plotting with the hour I set it up! It prints fast and clearly in both black and white and color beautifully. I highly recommend this plotter if you are looking for ease of set-up, a fast printer and a quality end product!

Best large format printer
This is by far the nicest printer I have ever owned. As a landscape design company we have been using large format printers for years, but we've never had one quite like this. You can tell how much thought and care was put into each intentional detail.
The packaging was well thought out and packaged each piece so nicely. The carefully worded set up guide made it extremely easy to get set up! This printer is wonderful and makes printing large project designs stress-free! I especially like that there are multiple print size options.

Wow this printer is amazing we have used a large format printer for years producing designs at our company and this one is simply the best. So much thought and care was put in to all the details. From the thoughtful packaging to the extreme ease of setup with the helpful setup guide. This printer is incredibly wonderful I really enjoy the multiple print size options from small 11inch projects to large roll projects. Also the whole printing process is smooth as can be.

Cutting Edge at a Decent Price
Unboxing is easy and was accomplished in less than 10 mins. The parts are organized and the main printer is well protected and secure.
Assembly is pretty straight forward from the app which was easy to follow. Be careful with screwing the bolts and ensure you don't drop them as you're screwing in the legs upside down. After the legs and supports are screwed in place, it is best to have 2 people to flip the printer to the proper upright position.
The sleak modern exterior look is an attractive piece for a modern office setting.
The capabilities of this printer are advanced. From the mobile printing to the letter size paper tray, these are some of the unique features from the prior design jet I have used (Designjet 1050).
The colored ink print quality is pretty sharp and the print rate is significantly faster especially for black and white than prior designjets.
I would say all in all it is a high end, large format printer for engineering and graphic printing use. The price is definitely worth it.

Great Printer - Difficult Installation
We received this printer to use for a large runway reconstruction project. The printer arrived without any difficulty and was extremely easy to setup. The drivers for the printer were large (1.1 GB) and were not included in an installation DVD with the printer, which made it difficult to install at our location. After downloading the drivers, we began using the printer. The quality of the prints in unquestionable; the fine detail for full scale drawings was impeccable and it was easy to use. I've primarily worked with HP Design Jet printers, and this printer provided the quality I expected.
The only complaint from our engineering team was that the printer did not readily print from all programs. PDF files were able to be printed on both 24" and 36" paper; however, the printer had issues printing on the 36" paper from our design software. The HP Smart application was not useful in addressing the printing issues. After installing the drivers, it was still necessary to print from the desired application and adjust the print settings there. Changing between paper sizes is effortless as the printer automatically detects and feeds the paper.
Overall, the printer is extremely capable and is a great value for the cost of the paper and ink cartridges compared to sending drawings to be printed by a subcontractor. Despite the issues with our software, I would absolutely recommend this printer to others in construction, it's value added is outstanding.

Fantastic Plotter!
I was excited to have received the HP large format plotter. Installation was pretty simple and quick. The setup of the plotter was also very simple. I really like the ability not only to plot on a large format plotter but the ability to print regular-sized paper thru the integrated paper feed. It's really an asset to the office!
I really like the compact design. I tried the remote printing with the HP Smart App and it worked great! Perfect for my construction business

HP Large Format Printer T600
I received this printer in exchange for my honest opinion. The printer is very large, it does require a lot of space. However, it prints on regular 8 1/2" x 11" paper as well as large format regular and bond paper. This printer can be used to print blueprints, large art projects or anything that you need to print. It prints in black and white and also in color. The color cartridges are small and easy to replace/insert. The large tray to catch the printed papers falls in front of the printer, so you'll need to accommodate extra room in your office/home for that, but it's large enough to catch the big printed blueprints, etc. that you print. I would recommend this printer for quality printing projects as it does not smear or smudge when you print in black and white or color. The printer is very easy to set up and use. I can print from anywhere in my office or house with the remote feature with the HP Smart App. It's also sustainable & it has a compact design. I am working from home and it beneficial for use in my “home office” as well as it also prints on regular sized 8 1/2" x 11" paper easily. It prints quickly and when printing on the large paper, the print quality is quite superior. The large print colors are no smeared, smudged or grainy at all. The printer produces clear and precise lettering as well as pictures. My son had to print a large picture for his art college class ad it turned out beautiful. I would definitely recommend this printer for professional and home use. I received this HP DesignJet printer at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I can't tell you how awesome this printer really is!! It is extremely fast. I work in the construction industry and we print some blueprints and the like. I could not believe how quick it printed my first job. It’s a great size. Something that we really needed. When I told the boss (owner) about this, he was in awe! No more going to other places to get copies printed or pick up drawings! We can do it all right here! It was fairly simple to set up. Being able to print wirelessly is a great feature. Excellent quality print jobs. Highly recommend this Printer to any construction company!

Perfect for At-Home or Professional Use
I am absolutely loving my HP Large Format Printer T600 36”! Not only can it print a variety of page sizes, but it prints fast for the amount of work it has to do, has a super sleek design which is perfect for a professional look, but is also is small enough so it doesn’t take up an entire room. Since COVID began, many of us began working from home more, my husband and I being those people. I am a Civil Engineer, which means I have to print plan sets often for submittals or to mark up and revise designs. My husband on the other hand has to install commercial stainless kitchen equipment, which means he typically needs a plan sheet with product details on it with him to make sure the equipment is built and installed properly. With my civil plans and his mechanical plans, we are quite the duo. We have both found that having this printer in the convenience of our own home has made our work days so much easier because we can always rely on this product to provide us with the plan sheets we need quickly. Not to mention, this printer also prints smaller pages such as 8.5”x11”, which means I can print pretty much all my documents with this printer, including work reports. Other features that we really appreciate is that this printer is very small so it doesn’t take up much space, has a straightforward touch screen interface, and also has the ability to connect to your phone through the HP Smart app so you can conveniently print straight from your phone. Putting this plotter together did take slightly over an hour but the time it took to set the printing app after all parts were assembled took just a few minutes. I couldn’t be happier with this product, and I can definitely see using this printer in an office setting once were able to safely work in an office again. 5/5 stars, amazing product!

Excellent Plot printer
One of the best Plot printers I have ever used. I have used this printer for a few different jobs now.
Setting up the printer took about an hour and 30 minutes. To process through install and updates.
I have used the printer for both blueprints, and advertising posters. Print speeds are comparable to other plot printers. Most jobs are completed under 30 seconds. There are many great features with this Plot printer. One of the features I liked the most is how easy it is to print and ease of the mobile app for printing as well.
The rendering and lines are perfect for every design.
Very pleased with this plot printer.

So efficient for my business
I originally received the HP DesignJet printer for my office, we run a commercial construction and maintenance company called ProFi out of south florida, and prior to this, we were outsourcing our printing. I was skeptical as to whether this was something we really needed but it's been less than a month in and I can already see how this machine is paying for itself. Right out of the box it was incredibly easy to assemble and works great. The HP DesignJet is fast, reliable, and prints high-quality docs very efficiently. We've been using the HP DesignJet to print building plans to give our GCs a better more clear view of the projects which has helped to optimize our operation and eliminate frustrations and job mistakes. Due to the size of the print jobs, I was skeptical at how well the quality would turn out but so far all docs and plans we've printed have been better quality than our old printing service, which charged us an arm and a leg with a few days turn around time. With the HP DesignJet I can print plans on-demand and It has helped me save a lot of money for my business. I highly recommend this machine to anyone in the building and construction industry.

Top Notch Large Format Wireless Printer!!!!!
I have taken a few photos to show the real life size of the printer. This large format wireless printer was awesome! From the beginning to the end of the set up process it was actually lot easier than I thought it would be. It is actually very easy if you follow it step by step. I've tried a few different settings & features so far including Fast Mode & Economode. Fast mode prints just over 2 sheets a minute. That is actually VERY FAST considering the the size of the paper (both length and width) and the very high quality. Economode changes the settings of the printer to use as little ink as possible without sacrificing quality! I'm very excited to use this printer and it even has a built-in stand! I printed a poster to put onto the wall and it came out great! I also printed out a few maps and it was VERY HIGH QUALITY! So far I have used this printer more for personal use than business use but that is only because I am new to testing it out. I will definitely be using it VERY SOON to print out more of my business posters and menus because of the EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY! This is a large format printer that is surprisingly compact for what it can do! It also seems to use very little ink compared to other similar printers. Even my regular Epson printer uses more ink and is NOWHERE NEAR the quality of this printer or capable of the output of this printer! It was also incredibly easy to set up too! I would recommend this printer to anyone that needs an easy to use wireless large format printer that is EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY!!!!!

Amazing large format printer
Everything came packaged very neat and well protected. Setup was very easy with all tools and screws needed packaged neatly together in the box. The printer is very user friendly, even for someone who is not tech savvy. The detail in the design is very subtle and modern. It would definitely not detract from a well-appointed home office. Excellent printer with great features and setup was a breeze between the on-board LED touchscreen display and a smartphone.

Great addition to the office
This printer is heavy. Make sure you have help to lift it.
I work for a company that prints several sets of plans a week. We have been using a third party but we have been increasing the number of prints we require over the years and the efficiency factor wasn't helping us. So we acquired this T600 printer.
Assembly and setup was incredible. within an hour of delivery, we were printing.
Out of the box the print quality wasn’t the greatest. There were several missing lines, but by the third page I printed the quality was as crisp and clear as any print we have had done by a third party. I am sure the print head just took a bit to fill with ink. At the current price point, this printer will pay itself off in about 14 months.
The HP Smart app, on my phone, is another great advantage over other printers I have looked at. As long as I am on the WiFi I have complete use of the printer. This is nice benefit because by the time I return to my office the prints are ready. Also, being able to take a picture of a document and print it to any of a few printers in the office is nice as well. Monitoring and being able to order supplies from the app is nice too.
Pros: Extremely simple changing out the paper roll between the 24" and 36". The added sheet feeder, for printing to standard or slightly larger paper is a huge plus for me.
Cons: The most difficult problem I had was figuring out how to adjust settings inside different programs to print to the proper scale. But some online searching helped that.

I have had this for about a week and I am very happy with it. It is very fast, and an added bonus I was not aware of it can print to 8.5 x11 and 11x17 sheets too! Assembly was quick and easy. For a home office or low cost company office solution this foots the bill. I highly recommend this printer.

Thank you for your question! This HP DesignJet T630 Large Format Wireless Plotter Printer - 36" will support ArchD sheets. The maximum automatic sheet feeder has a max paper size of 13" by 19" so this will have to be manually fed due to the size.

Thank you for your question! The T630 is a Large Format Printer, whereas the T830 is an All-in-One that can print, copy, and scan. If those features are needed then the T830 will be your option. The T830 is also a faster printer as well.
