Wrong Charger for my HP Spectre.
This charger looks good, but is unsatisfactory. My HP Spectre laptop says it is a "low voltage " charger and incorrect. My charger also seem unusually hot. I would like a refund and better replacement.

How is this supposed to work?
I got it, I needed a charger cord since my puppy ate mine while it was plugged into the wall outlet. I have yet to figure out how exactly it is supposed to be plugged into the laptop, the wall outlet, and be intact at the same time. I have yet to get my laptop powered up,

HP 65W Slim adapter
This product seems to have been designed to use with the most notebook models possible. At the very end of the power cord, you can connect any of three fittings (depending on the notebook model) which plugs directly into the notebook. My problem is that the attachment does not stay connected to the power cord. The attachment falls off of the power cord very easily, leaving you with the attachment remaining in the notebook while the power cord remains on your desk or is dangling in midair.
Hence, you need to keep a close watch on your notebook to be sure that it is getting power and/or charging.

HP 65W Slim with USB AC Adapter Charger
I received this charger after some delay - FedEx - not HP. The charger works well for both of my new and older HP laptop computers. It is slightly longer and deeper than the original but not as high. Overall it should pack well. It does what it is supposed to do: charge my new computer; as a bonus it also charges my older laptop. It comes with three different charging tips. In addition the the components pictured in the sales material it also came with an angled wall to charger adapter. This part is not noted or pictured on the accompanying user instructions so I don't know what HP calls it. I suspect this is for travel as it will be valuable for plugging the charger into desk height electrical outlets. It's unfortunate that HP does not make this part available for separate purchase configured for European, English and Australian outlets.

What a disappointment
After just 2 years I cannot use my laptop without it being plugged in to an outlet. I keep getting an error message that my internal battery needs to be replaced. Well that is ridiculous for the battery to die in such a short period of time. I go into the HP website by clicking the link that directs me to replace the battery. I thought i would be directed to the specific item but i had to type in what i wanted. I entered battery and the adapter was tbe only thing that appeared in the search results. I was surprised that the battery was in the wall plug but i reasoned that it could make sense because i can no longer use the laptop without it be plugged in. So i spent the freaking $90 for the plug and upon receiving it attached it to the laptop. Of course it did nothing. I still have to be tethered to a wall plug. I wasted money on the computer and $90 for a freaking cord. I now have to bite the bullet and just buy a new computer. But it will not be an HP!

I purchased this adapter to go with my new purchase of the Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop - 16-f000. After plugging in to laptop I received message: not compatible with this device. I am unable to find a way to return it for refund. It has the same order number H349086611 as HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop, I want to return only the HP 65W Slim Adapter.

Pieces dont even FIT TOGETHER
I'm not sure whats going on.
I'm not even sure why they made the plugs a twist and lock...
But the cords that come WITH the charger aren't fitting into the brick.
It doesnt go all the way down for me to even twist and lock it...

Disappointing Return Service
Right after I bought this HP 65W Slim with USB AC Adapter, I found a Platinum brand adapter with the same features except the power source plugs directly into the outlet rather than laying on my kitchen floor while in use. This Platinum USB AC adapter unit is high quality made and was 1/2 the cost of the HP adapter.
I never did open the HP box because of the advantage of the Platinum adapter that I described. I was told by HP service I would be charged a restocking fee even though I did not open the box prior to returning. I told the service rep that if I am charged the restocking fee, I will no longer consider purchasing HP products on line.

Great purchase
My old charger had gotten worn through use and I couldn't risk the exposed wires. Did some quick research through HP website comparison tool to make sure I had the right size connector for my computer and everything has been great since - the set includes multiple size connectors for a variety of products and the built-in USB charger is great for charging your phone/other accessories at the same time.

Overall happy -- though it runs hot
I've been using this for probably a couple of months now. I was very happy that it fits my Envy and it's very compact when you take it apart. The one negative that I have noticed is that if I have to use it all day, it becomes very hot to the touch, which I can't imagine is good. Overall, I am happy.

does not work properly
Purchased the correct power adapter rated for the laptop (HP Pavilion). When the adapter is plugged into the wall using the cord, the laptop states power to low to charge. When I change the cord to the wall plug in adapter it works but the cord is so short I can't work at a desk and have to sit on the floor. At 52 that is a little in convenient. I do not recommend this as it will cause you frustration.

I needed a new HP 65W Adapter for my Envy Laptop. I really wanted to get the kind that came with the laptop when I bought it from the HP Store on line. I did a chat with a Natasha. Natasha helped me out and was very satisfied. Her knowledge and help with getting me the right adapter I needed was great. I ended up ordering the HP 65W Slim AC Adapter awhile later. Went to the HP STORE on line and ordered it. I was really surprised to see how thin and all the extra adapter plugs that came with it. I plan on ordering another one later down the road. HP Products are number one on my list for all my computers needs...

No option to replace plugs
I bought this travel adapter so I could power my laptop with something easy to carry. It did that fine. However, the included plug for my HP laptop kept disconnecting from the cord coming from the power adapter. This was very frustrating. Then I lost this small plug. I can't find a place to order a new one. So, there is no way to replace something that doesn't connect very well in the first place!

The description doesn't match the product.
I bought this online as it said it was compatible with my new Spectre x360 laptop. When it arrived it was unusable as it has no USB connection (look closely at the picture). I spoke to a customer service rep who sent me a different model that was also supposed to be compatible and had the same problem. HP needs to fix the description and categorization to prevent this problem for others.

I was told that this would work on both an ENVY 13t and a Spectre x360 Convertible. The connector is incompatible with the Spectre. It works fine on the ENVY.

HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop uses a Mini HDMI and this multi use USB AC Adapter doesn't have one with the three it comes with! So no matter what they tell you on the phone this will NOT WORK for a HP Spectre x360.
