Initially, I ordered a set of larger cartridges to maximize my time between changes. The printer accepted the black but would not accept the larger capacity color. I replaced the old one and ordered a regular. Hope to try and succeed to replace it this weekend. A color capable printer (new) is useless if it won’t accept cartridges for whatever reason. I am completely capable of following directions. Most disappointing to find this issue after year of HP use.

I had been with InstantInk but did not print enough to make it worthwhile. I let the subscription lapse; then HP put a freeze on my printer and I could not print unless I either restarted the subscription or bought new cartridges. No consideration was given despite my HP history. Locking me out of my own printer was not necessary and a bit of overreach. It did not make me very happy and then the delivery of the new cartridges was not as fast as promised. I still like my HP printer as well as my HP Laptops (I have two), just not happy with the way I was treated by the InstantInk folks.

I bought a new HP printer, the Envy series and the ink that came with it, the tri color was OK, but the black faded out after a little more than halfway through the cartridge.I used the cleaning tool and it seemed OK until the next time i used the printer and the black was faded out again. I always print out a test page every few days to keep the ink from drying up but the black still faded anyway.I installed the new black cartridge a few days ago and I'll keep checking it to see if it fades out too.

How many color photos (4 x 6) will the 64 cartridge yield?

Hello. Thanks for your question. The 64 black ink cartridge will yield about 200 pages. The 64 tricolor ink cartridge will yield about 165 pages. The 64XL high yield black ink cartridge yields about 600 pages and the 64XL tricolor ink cartridge will each yield about 415 pages. This is with 5% coverage. A full-page photo would be 100% coverage. I just bought an HP ENVY Inspire 7900e series printer.  The trip-color ink cartridge does not show any blue ink in the status report (only two colors).  As a result pictures will not print properly.  Does this happen often and will it be a future prob?
