Used cartridges instead of a new one!
Every time I receive a cartridge from HP and insert into printer, my printer says it is a used and new cartridge. I pay for a new cartridge, so I want to know why do I always seem to get a used cartridge from HP instead of a new one?

Hope this one works
I don’t know who actually makes these for HP. I only use HP ink cartridges bought directly from HP. On two different occasions the printer has identified these cartridges as not genuine HP cartridges and I need to replace it immediately as it will ruin the printer. I think the cartridges are the print head, but that’s another issue.
They use to ship these fast and delivery was fast, often the next day. This cartridge was ordered and shipped the next day. It went to TN, I think from MS to Illinois, then to Wi then back to Illinois via Fed’x, then they handed it off to the USPS for delivery.

Mix and Match Ink!
I like the choices in sizes of ink. I mix and match sizes, buying a larger size of black ink to suit my needs and often buying the economy sizes for the three colors. If I have bigger jobs of printing ahead, I get the original ink cartridges. I have never had this ink dry out or clog, which I worried about when I first bought my HP printer. I have never used any other ink in my printer because I am very satisfied with HP ink!

I bought a replacement cartridge for a newly bought 7525 because the cartridge that came with the printer did not work - this one was defective also.
I returned the 7525. I still have the 564 magenta cartridge I bought from hp.

HP 564 Magenta + other Ink cartridges
This was not recognized as a full cartridge by my printer (c310a); I bought all 5 new cartridges from HP and only one showed 'full' = the black,. All the photo cartridges had some space at the top after printer recognized the new cartridges which is disappointing, suggesting I'm not getting full cartridges.

Much better than the last magenta I received.
Unlike the last magenta cartridge I ordered, this one at least had some magenta ink in it. I truly believe HP owes me another 564 magenta cartridge as a replacement for the one I received with no magenta ink in the cartridge or HP owes me $9.99 so that I may purchase a magenta cartidge from my Staples store.

Ink level indicators unreliable
Unlike the similar canon cartridges, there is no viewing window on these cartriges.
The software told me that my cartridges were empty. I replaced them at great expense.
Later, when it told me the new cartrdige was empty, I ignored it. It is still printing much, much later. I have saved my last set of empty cartiges. I am trying to figure out how to open them under controlled conditions, to determin how much ink was actually still there. If any one has suggestions, let me know.
