1st HP 8139e printer has a fax failure issue.
So far, the new printer I purchased has a flaw that cannot be resolved. I've been waiting since 7/1/24 for a promised replacement. Hard to give any kind of positive review since the defect existed from the date it was delivered and set up with HP's help. Repeated efforts by HP to correct the problem have not been successful and at the moment I'm still waiting for the new replacement.

Many hours trying to access the HP Pro 9010 series all in one printer. No success. Today, it is!
Basically, this all in one printer/scanner works well. However, a rather big issue for me has been the inability of this device to work with Microsoft Scan. Having used many of the scanning software programs, MS Scan is best for scanning. However, after some six hours with technicians from both HP and MS, they were unable to "pair" this printier to the MS Scan software. I have two other computers, both W-10 and each shows the HP 9015e available. What's the issue?
UPDATE: I just opened MS Scan. The HP Office Jet Pro 9010 series is shows in the listing of scanneers I have (3 ea) IS NOW IN THE LIST! Why? Who knows. I suspect Mr. Gremlin knows for certain.

My new printer has just been installed. I did not receive a USER MANUAL so I am unable to set up FAX, Copy, Scan.etc. I can only print documents. I either need to have you help me with all of this or I will have to pay someone to do it.

Frustrated with service process and new warranty process
My warranty still does not show up on my serial numbered printer and you are sending me surveys. I bought this printer and extended warranty when my old printer failed and after I had to spend $20. just to get the phone number for "service" to ask a question about what to do next. They told me in less than a minute when I described the issue that the printer was beyond repair.

The build of the OfficeJetPro 9015e
When purchasing an HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e, be aware it is really noisy and clunky when you turn it on, after it prints and goes to rest and when it goes through the shut down procedure. It is nowhere as great as my former OfficeJet Pro 8720 model that my wife and I had. That model was quiet and did not sound clunky.

HP extended warranty.
Spent a long time on hold with HP and was transferred and hung up on multiple times until I was able to purchase it. Couldn’t buy my plan online as it wasn’t available without buying a printer even though they said I could and the version I could get was less then the one I wanted so I was indirectly forced to purchase over the phone wasting hours on hold and speaking to representatives who I was ruining their paid vacation.

An Exellent Printer for a Reasonable Price!
I purchased this printer last summer. It works much faster than the old printer. The free instant ink feature is also an additional "perk" to add to this purchase! It gets the job done very quickly and efficiently, that's what I like about it! I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who needs a new printer, not just because of 6 months of free instant ink, but also because of the great wonderful customer service that HP provides! The only problem I have is that I can't put very much paper into the tray, because if I do, it will result in a paper jam of ginormous proportions, and I had to excange the printer for a new one from HP because it couldn't be fixed. I learned a lesson from that: never over load the paper tray with too much paper!

How do you rate the purchase of an HP Care Pack without using it. Yes, the concept and coverage are great, but until you actually use it (hopefully never), it is impossible to rate the fine print restrictions which may occur.
