You Need This Warranty
It's a good thing I bought this for my previous laptop because I dropped it & the screen cracked. HP repaired it fast with virtually no effort on my part. Of course, I bought it again with my current laptop.

Never received the warranty certificate email
Despite three or four phone calls and chat sessions - and multiple promises it would be sent - I never received the email with the warranty certificate. I'm going to try again today, but one should not have to beg for something like this that I paid for.
If it was possible I'd put zero stars since there is nothing to review.

So far so good!
So far I have been extremely happy and impressed with HP customer service and their ability to help me. No problems, and they have made the experience very quick and painless. Had an exchange due to a questionable display. They helped me resolve the issue without a hitch. New computer is rockin’!

Better safe than sorry
I haven't had the chance to test out the quality of the HP care package, but I will say that it's a bit inconvenient for the care pack to be active before my computer was ever even shipped; considering that I bought the two together. I do understand why this is the case, but what this means for me is that I paid the price for a full 3 years of protection, but will not be getting a full 3 years worth.

Hope the support is better than getting registered.
I hope this is a purchase I don't ever use. But, I will say that getting it was a real problem. There were issues when I bought the computer in getting the website to accept the warranty purchase, I had to call for support just to buy the warranty. No information came with the purchase regarding registration of the warranty. I had to chat with tech support just to get the number to call, (they are closed on weekends but they don't tell you that with a voicemail, it just says not available and hangs up) to get the warranty registered. The CS rep was nice and helpful and the registration was easy, but the consumer is tasked with all the work to make sure the warranty is available, purchased, and registered beyond what the average person would think to pursue.

computer arrived defective. it was great that i had this pack, but not really worth it if im already claiming part of the warranty in first three days. also frustrating that there was no option for store pick up to claim warranty as the shipping was not fast enough for my needs. customer service was patient and responsive, but overall unable to solve the problem
