Never received an extended warranty.
I purchase an extended warranty with this computer because the SSD in my 2019 AIO crashed abruptly leaving me with 7 months of lost data. HP said I received the warranty via email, but I never did. They keep wanting me to buy another extended warranty. I have only used HP products for almost 20 years. Maybe it's time to change.

Frustrated with the Care Pack Registration Process
I don't understand why I had to go through the headaches to register this care pack. When you sold it to me, it should have been automatically registered because I purchased a computer at the same time. The registration process was tedious and frustrating. I had to call my neighbor who works for HP to assist me and it took her a long time to figure out how to do it. Make it simple for us people and register it when we purchase it. I never got any information telling me what it covers or any other details. All I know is what I paid and that it's a care pack to cover issues on my new computer. Some helpful instructions and details of what it covers would have been nice.

Worthless HP Support!
I bought a brand new computer from HP because I couldn't find what I wanted at Best Buy. I was assured by the HP rep on the phone that they would take care of everything. The computer arrived from China today, April 6. When I called HP for help, they said I would have to call Best Buy for installation.

Mislead
Was told I'd get the Laplink PC Mover when I placed the order by phone as the HP chat system was working. Now I get the computer after a 2-3 week wait and I'm stuck and will have to work something out regarding moving my files. Had a hunch I shouldn't have bought this unit...

Clueless with HP
I don't have the faintest clue as to what this Protection Plan Covers. It was never explained to me. I gave it 3 stars because in 3 years I don't use the plan then I get my monies back. I still didn't hear from HP care pack about my registration and coverage.

Drawbacks of the 3-Year "Care Pack"
The first and - so far - only time I tried to use the Care Pack, I was told by your tech support that the Care Pack did not cover the issue I was having and that I needed to purchase a different one for substantially the same cost.
I am also having problems with the McAfee Virus "protection" that came with the computer. I asked him to disable it, and he refused.

One More Time
This is my 3rd time purchasing an extended warranty for a HP product that is refundable if not used during the warranty period. The first one ended favorably resulting in a full refund. The second one is in process to receive the refund as the extended warranty just expired on that PC and the paperwork has been submitted and confirmed received by HP's agent. The third one was only purchased a couple of weeks ago so I will see how that one goes three years from now. It seems to me a refundable extended warranty is a great idea assuming the product you buy is a quality one. While this is only my third refundable extended warranty it is actually on my 6th HP PC and truth be told I have never had any real problems with any of those PCs which is what motivated me to keep going back to HP. Given the price of CPUs and GPUs these days a failure of one of those components would make the extended warranty seem like a good purchase. If, like the preceding PCs before it, I have no issues with this one it seems like a great purchase.

Protection Plan Doesn't cover Full Ownership Period
I purchased a new HP computer 3 weeks ago. I haven't received it yet. I knew it would take time to build. The problem is the Protection Plan starts the day it was purchased. That means I lose at least 3 weeks of protection for a computer not even in my possession. I don't know of any other product that has that kind of coverage. For example, if I purchase a new vehicle, I don't receive a warranty that started when the vehicle was built.

Great computer, but double check shipping.
The computer is great! Need an HDMI cable to connect it to screen. Runs smooth, no issues. Would warn to make sure shipping address is right on checkout, as it is nearly impossible to change it once shipped.

It is a Must Have
Two and a half years ago I bought an Envy All in one Desktop with a 27” screen. This past March when it became necessary to start using video conferencing apps I discovered that my camera was not working. HP requested that I send in the Envy for repair. Several weeks later HP contacted me and said that the parts to repair were on back order. They offered me gift cards to cover the cost of a comparable computer. I used the gift cards to purchase an Envy AIO 32”. I highly recommend the HP Care Pack.
