Rated 5 out of 5 by StKl from Too Expensive Great product but way too expensive, as are most. The total for all four cartridges was almost as much as a new printer of the same model. Probably next time I will get a new printer instead. Seems like a big waste but... Anyway, the cartridges are easy to install and provide beautiful color. I did appreciate the recycling opportunity with the free UPS return label as well.

When I first bought it a year ago they sent 2 incorrect toners and I didn’t notice until a month ago so they wouldn’t let me return it because it was past the return date so I had to buy two more toners. $168 down the drain

Rated 3 out of 5 by Izzi from Replacing Magenta cartridge We needed to replace all the cartridge colors, waited for Magenta since there was a backorder issue, then finally received Magenta and installed. The black cartridge still said there was an issue with the ! sign shown on the screen. We ordered another cartridge and tried calling technical support, who are contractors for HP. Anyway, long story short, we had to go back to Costco, return that printer and purchase another one. Only had this printer for 5 months and hadn't been able to print in over 3 months, so eliminated further aggravation and now starting over with a new printer. Hopefully, we won't run into the same issue when we have to reorder new cartridges.

If I buy the original, HP toner for the HP LJ Pro M255dw printer, do I still have to change micro chips on each color from the old toner to the new one? Or do the HP toners come with a new chip each time?
