From an unhappy HP user
I only use my HP ColorLaserJet CM1312nfi printer for black-and-white printing. After months of being nagged to replace my CYAN cartridge, I gave in and spent the $100 you demanded. Now I am being nagged to get a different cartridge that plays no role in black-and-white printing. Are you surprised that I don't have very good feelings about your HP marketing policies?

Printer uses too much color toner
I have no problem with the toner cartridges. They do what they are supposed to. My problem is with how the HP Color Laser Jet uses the cartridges. The vast majority of my printing is done in black and white, which I select in every way I can find. The color toner still gets used up!

My 9 year old HP laser printer needed toner desperately! I'm so glad I replaced it, I used to dread printing because it would have a dark line down the center, it prints wonderful once again and I no longer dread printing! Oh yeah, shipping was free!!! Thanks HP! :-)

It was great as usual. I was sorry that you were out of the tri-color multipack for my 1518ni color LaserJet. In these times of shortages, you might consider offering the same (collective) bargain price when someone orders the three individual cartridges. Just a thought. I ended up ordering elsewhere to get that product.

i purchased it as a replacement for my printer. unfortunately the shipper did not deliver it for 3 weeks. so i was without my printer for a couple of weeks. FEDEX did a poor job. package was banged up as well. cartridge was ok

Why are these good cartridges so way overpriced? A horrible rip-off, for sure.
It's a sad business model to sell good printers at low cost and the rip off the buyer by selleing way overpriced cartridges. Hopefully everything will be digital soon so we can stop feeding HP's sick business model.

HP toner is always a great product, and the shipping time is impressive -- even including the slight delay because of the pandemic. My only complaint is the price. HP quality is better than the knockoffs, but maybe not 4 times better, although the price is 4 times higher.

I have owned my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 printer for probably 10 years. I've never had any problems. The specific toner cartridge, CB541A, color Cyan, works great. Color goes on smoothly, no clumping or smearing.

I have a CP1215 and I am wanting to make sure that the black ink cartridge 125A that is compatible has iron oxide in it as this is needed for my printable decal to be able to be fired on to glass in my kiln project. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your interest in the 125A toner cartridge. That toner does not contain high amounts of iron-oxide like the toners MICR toners do. The exact compound that makes the styrene acrylate copolymer is not available which makes up the majority of the 125A toner. HP at this time does not make LaserJet printers or toners that have a higher concentration of iron-oxide. Troy Group is a partner of HP's that does make those specific HP units and MICR toner cartridges.
