We used it for my son's birthday party and it allowed friends to take a keepsake of there favorite photo from the celebration like a photo booth. I highly recommend such great quality prints better than CVS and in real time. Such a wonderful way to create memory keepsakes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by KUP27 from same as previous/now with blue tooth works well but print quality is same as I had 5 years ago. previous one broke after 3 to 4 years use. blue tooth is nice, power bank seems weaker than required. The printing quality itself seems not to have improved. It is good for my uses, am satisfied, not "thrilled."

This photo copier wasn’t available yet. They’ve had to buy so much cloud storage for their phones with their baby and nothing to print it out on besides a standard printer. This was worth the wait! Photos that look like the kind from a real camera and photo processing and all with a simple click from their phones! They ate super happy to have something that they can quickly print out, because we know how fast life goes and now they have pictures to reflect on to reminisce.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeInBoise from Good product, with a few quirks... I purchased the HP Sprocket Studio and Power Bank in order to have a portable "Photo Booth" for youth events. In the end, the printer performed well, and the print quality is great! Being able to photograph people at a remote location, and get printed output real time is awesome. The Sprocket software for iOS does have a few quirks in it, which if these were addressed, I would rate this product as Excellent. Here are the "Quirks" that I observed: 1) When I first tried the the printer, the print quality was horrible. I was just creating sample prints using the starter cartridge, and was a bit dismayed at first. The color planes of the printed output were off be a few pixels, which created a blurry mess of a photo. I spent some time digging around in the app to try to find a "calibrate" setting or something, when I noticed that the app determined that the printer needed a firmware update. I performed the firmware update, ant the print quality issue was immediately fixed. As an improvement, I would recommend that the app provide a more visible notification to the user that a firmware update is needed, rather than requiring me to search around and happen to discover this situation. 2) The app provided good notification when the printer ran out of paper, but later something happened, and the printer quit working. The only indication I had was that the red light was flashing on the printer. The app did not provide any indication what was wrong. I changed the print cartridge, and the printer started working again. So I'm not sure, but does the app not tell you when the print cartridge needs changing? If this is the case, this needs to be addressed. 3) Later, the app indicated that the printer was getting hot (probably because I was printing lot of photos back-to-back. After a while, the printer stopped working again, with no indication from the app as to why. I removed and re-inserted the print cartridge, and the printer started working again. Was this a temperature issue? Something else? I don't know, but it was a bit frustrating. 4) During the course of things, I ended up inadvertently printing a couple of photos multiple times. I noticed that the photos were in the "Application Queue", but there was no obvious way to cancel those prints once they were in the queue. I wanted to cancel the prints, rather than waste the ink/paper for duplicate photos, but I could not find a way to do that.
