Rated 5 out of 5 by Stephen De from Excellent, Fast Laptop My new HP Envy x360 14 is an excellent laptop. The AMD Ryzen 5 8640 is exceptionally fast. The laptop runs cool and there is no perceptible fan noise. The display is very bright (500 nits), so I normally keep it at 60 percent brightness. The 16 x 10 ratio is better, too, since it makes it easier to read and scroll text. I'm glad I got the 2880 x 1800 display because the colors and text sharpness are fantastic, and the high 120 Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference in scrolling and watching videos. The Envy x360 14 is a very sleek laptop and weighs only 3.06 lbs. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light, well-made professional laptop.

Is the keyboard detachable keyboard from the screen?

Hello. Thanks for your question. The keyboard does not detach from this HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14z-fa000. It does fold into four modes: laptop, tent, presentation and tablet.

Can I upgrade the RAM?

Why are there no options for the 8945HS processor and 32GB or 64GB of RAM? These machines have the bare minimum amount of non-upgradable RAM and are basically obsolete.
