Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Still Pending I called the technical support number given to me, and the first representative kept me on the phone a lengthy time and still could not answer my questions. The second time I called, the representative had such a thick foreign accent I could not understand him. In frustration, I emailed the District Manager who had someone call me but the caller ID showed a toll-free number instead of HP so I did not answer, and no voice message was left. Instead, I received an email from the Print Contact Center inquiring "Is there any preferred call back date and time in which we may attempt to contact you?" I replied with a day and window of time however I was never contacted during that time. This happened twice. Why would HP keep asking for my availability if they are going to call me at a completely different time?

Rated 1 out of 5 by HP needs help. from HP Printer Our Journey with HP. We have always used HP with success but our latest encounter involving our recent purchase of a new Printer has not been awful. First, I called HP for help in making the Jet Printer I using for 3 yeas and was not working good, thus I phoned HP for help. I talked for some time to a Tech persons or just HP persons. After a loan conversation with a Tech ( or Sales ) guy I was told that it is time for me to get a new Prtinter and we would discount the price to somewhere about $ 175000. And he stated the new 431 would be just grand to have. We talked about recycles covering the old Printer and the toners we still had in the unit. Then I really had a headache talking with various HP persons regarding the new printer and then dealing with Recycling and and HO Planet Partners. I went with 5 different HP personnel and asking for help about Recycling and I thought my older printer was port of A Reycling program. And the telephone calls to HP persons just went around and round regarding Recycling my old printer . Seems there is not a plan to Recycle printers , just old toners and such. I can verify that because I sent some Back to HP without being such problems. That's my written review. And I still have a very large box for the new printer but I think I will wait a few day before I tackle that issue. Thankyou

Rated 3 out of 5 by Misled by HP Advertising from Disappointing Paper Trays and Error Messages I really wanted to like this printer, but just don't. The number of paper trays is misleading: tray #1 is a MANUAL FEED "tray" with a door that drops down and only holds a very small amount of paper. We wanted a printer where we could have two FULL SIZE paper trays loaded at all times (one with letter and one with legal). Tray 2 we wanted to use as a designated paper tray for legal size paper, but to accomodate the legal size paper, the paper tray does not close all the way but rather sticks out 3 inches from the body of the machine in the front. This is a very unprofessional look and we're disappointed that HP decided go to this route instead of having the tray extend out the back of the machine. Additionally the printer is constantly issuing "Your printer needs your attention" alarms/notices saying that the printer is offline or out of paper - neither of which is ever true....

So far this M555 is excellent, and as with all HP products in my experience, will be the little workhorse that we need. Buying directly from HP was the best decision. . . the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable, guided me to the right choice for our company, and was very patient and helpful.
