Noone can expect accidental things such as spilling of water or coffee, or with kids they handling it roughly or laptop slipped out of hand and if there is sudden power surge. We never know when electronic things stop working. Hp is top brand and ensures no problem with hardware but one can never say what will happen, so I feel it's always better to have the accidental damage protection for 3 yrs. Another great point in this plan if there is no repair or never sent to hp center they will refund the money of the plan which is very great feature of this plan. So having this plan is total peace of mind for me as if something fails laptop is covered where one spends hundreds to thousand dollars and if not plan money will refunded. Thank you HP for having such a wonderful plan and helping customers.

Crazy to think this is how school is now of days. I wanted something that is reliable, small, light and powerful. This computer is a perfect match. We have set it up for her and she is on a running with it. She has done a few assignments utilizing the computer and we are starting to get our money worth. I personally have another HP computer at home that is older and I have a company HP work computer as well and "knock on wood" but no issues and doing great. I would suggest this to any of my friends!!

That is a great feature. I always take great care with my electronics but you just never know. Much cheaper to pay for this warranty up front than to toss your computer out in frustration if it breaks, or to pay the high cost of repairs out of pocket.

But I haven’t had an accidental damage yet so we will see what happens if I ever have to use my coverage. It is a mental relief I have enough stuff to worry about and knowing my laptop that I use every single day for work is covered is fantastic! Totally worth it especially when a new laptop is $700 plus and the 3 years coverage I believe was about $150-$180. Definitely great!

Does this warranty need to be bought in the same order of the laptop or one can purchase later?

There is no advantage in terms of length of protection in buying the Care Pack later than buying the PC. This Care Pack coverage starts the day of the PC purchase. Thanks for your question!
