Scanner took 20 minutes to scan 50 pages. Required two tech support calls and spent several hours on the phone. When hp was not able to resolve the problem they wanted to send a refurbished unit. I told them that was unacceptable. The tech put me in touch with sales and they agreed to send a new scanner with expedited shipping once the defective one was returned to FedEx. Fortunately had the three year next day replacement plan. No charges. Hope the next one is better.

It's so bad that I have to physically turn it off between printing jobs. Today it decided to change the language on the screen. I could not possibly hate this printer more!!!

As alway, the support I received from HP was great! The agent was patient, explained everything and my problem was solved. I was cursed with Brother printers for years. The smartest hardware decision I ever made was switching to HP.
