HP Care Pack: If I Pay $5.99 per month for this plan, hot long can I keep my laptop covered for repairs? 3 years? 10 years? Also i recall seeing mention of "desktop only." I can't find that wording now, but does this plan cover a Laptop?

So I have a 15-fc0093dx hp laptop and the screen is cracked can i get it fixed if i buy the accidental warranty, because i have a limited time warranty but it does not cover this. Also if i pay for it do i get a box a label then send it in and get it back

Thank you for your question! This HP Protection with Accidental Damage Subscription Service is a subscription service paid monthly. When/if the service is cancelled it will cancel at the end of the billing cycle you are in. There is nothing to refund.

How might I quit?

Thank you for your question! HP Accidental Damage Protection Care Pack is available as a yearly renewing subscription with monthly billing. The credit card you provide will be automatically charged a monthly $5.99 fee per subscription. You may cancel your subscription any time within your online account by going to My Subscriptions and clicking "Cancel." Cancellations must be submitted at least 2 days prior to the start of your next billing cycle. Cancellation requests can also be made through postal mail HP Inc. – HP Store, 11311 Chinden Blvd., Bldg 7 Boise, ID 83714; or email (smbcs@hp.com) and telephone (1-800-474-6836). If you cancel before the end of the annual subscription term: (i) in CA, CO, DC, IL, ME, NM and WI a $7.18 termination fee will be charged; in WA a $25 termination fee will be charged; and in NV a $25 termination fee will be charged if you cancel from day 31-70 of the subscription (ii) All remaining states a $35 termination fee + tax will be charged. All amounts are without taxes which will be charged additionally.

Thank you for your question! The HP Protection with Accidental Damage Subscription Service starts with the date of the hardware purchase. It is recommended to purchase the Plan when you purchase your laptop.

Unfortunately, this forum does not have information on how hypothetical or potential issues are resolved, as each issue is unique and has its own set of circumstances. Typically there are no deductibles, however.
