My most recent, a 23" Envy with touchscreen was purchased late in 2013, so I have high expectations for its replacement. After researching for several weeks and reading dozens of reciews across multiple platforms, I settled in on the Pavillion all in one 27 CA 1055t with the touchscreen. This enabled me to upgrade from a 23" monitor screen to a 27" while increasing processor speed. I stayed with the stock 8 gig of RAM and had it outfitted with a 256 gig SSD primary drive and a 2 TB secondary drive. Having the unit in use for about two weeks now, I am extremely pleased with the operation and clarity/sharpness of the monitor. The learning curve from Windows 10 to Windows 11 was next to nonexistent. Setup was quick and painless. I was on the internet receiving updates within 20 minutes or so. I spent about 5 days copying data from my old machine as it slowly died onto a portable hard drive. The 120+ gig of data was copied o to the new machine in just under 30 minutes. Moving the data around to its proper places on the two drives took about 10 minutes. The screen quality is exquisite, video streaming is flawless and a pleasure to watch. I really love the all in one platform as it saves space and still allows me a full function machine. I wish that there had been an option to add an optical drive just to be able to utilize my old CDs and DVDs without having to connect up a portable drive, but i guess that I'll have to live with that for what it is. In retrospect, I probably should have opted for either 16 gig or maybe 32 gig of RAM, but I can live with things the way they are until after the holidays and then upgrade it myself. This is a great machine and you will not go wrong with it as your next PC.

First, the description of the auxiliary drive I purchased (1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD) did not make it clear that this drive is internal rather than external. I was looking for a back-up external drive that I could use with multiple PCs, and the description at the HP website did not make it clear that this was actually an internal drive. Second, no instructions were provided on how to work the "Qi" wireless charger at the unit's base. A search online revealed that I have to use the "OSD" button at the back of the unit, and then some toggling which I finally got to work through trial and error. I realize that nobody reads user's manuals anymore, but surely there is a middle ground where HP can provide some needed information in clear straightforward language.

I got a lot of upgrades and it was pretty expensive. I was excited and eager. Unfortunately, that excitement has changed into disappointment and irritation. Immediately, there were issues with the desktop. The computer was slow and would shut down randomly. On restarting, I got the blue screen of death. I contacted HP who helped me to troubleshoot and everything seemed good. But within a week, the issue was back. Sometimes the computer would shut off in the middle of me using it, and it was super slow. I called HP twice more with the same issue. Fast forward to April of 2023, and I'm still having issues, even after sending it in to HP, who told me they took care of the issue. A new operating system needed to be installed. As of this right now moment, I still cannot use my device.

how do I adjust the camera on this all in one desktop computer

It is unclear what is meant by adjusting the camera. If you are referring to activating the camera, you have to manually pull it up then the camera will be activated and can be used for video calls and other photo/video functions.
