HP’s 2025 Pitch Fest Showcases Global Nonprofits Advancing the Future of Work

October 21, 2025

HP’s 2025 Pitch Fest brought together the eight nonprofit organizations from Greece, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Spain who participated in this year’s Accelerator to highlight their efforts in advancing digital equity.

The virtual event, which premiered on Tuesday, October 21, celebrated how these organizations are equipping disconnected communities with the critical skills needed to thrive in the Future of Work.

Celebrating innovation and collaboration

Pitch Fest marked the culmination of HP’s annual Accelerator, which helps organizations scale the impact of their community-based initiatives. Each of the organizations received a ~$100,000 cash grant, HP technology (~$100,000 value) and six months of virtual training and mentorship.

During Pitch Fest, each organization shared how their work is helping to close the global $1 trillion digital divide within their respective countries:

Greece

  • Socialinnov: Providing AI literacy, digital skills, and innovation training through its Tech Talent School 2.0 program, addressing digital skills gaps within the country.
  • The Smile of the Child: Working to close the digital divide in Greece, using a tailored approach to reach 10,000 citizens across all 13 regions.
Indonesia
  • Solve Education: Empowering youth from disconnected communities with AI-driven, gamified education through its Digital Heroes program.
  • Markoding: Equipping girls and women with hardware, digital skills training, and access to ensure they can successfully participate in the digital economy.
Nigeria
  • She Code Africa: Providing technology, digital skills training, and mentorship throughout Africa to expand access to careers in STEM.
  • Slum2School Africa: Enabling participation in the global economy by providing digital access and education through initiatives such as the Slum2School Green Academy.
Spain
  • AlmaNatura Foundation: Revitalizing rural communities by providing hardware, training, and guidance to expand digital literacy and prepare residents for the digital economy.
  • Esplai Foundation: Providing access to hardware, local learning spaces, and personalized support to expand access to services, education, and jobs.

Advancing digital equity and the Future of Work worldwide

The event also featured remarks from HP leaders Antonio Lucio, Michele Malejki, and Mariama Kabia, alongside alumni from previous Accelerator cohorts, including Nezha Larhrissi of eSTEM Morocco, Varun Chandak of Access to Success Organization, and Qhakaza Mbali Mohare of Digify Africa Foundation. Together, they highlighted the importance of advancing digital equity and the Future of Work through innovation, collaboration, and community-driven solutions.

HP is on a journey to accelerate digital equity for 150 million people by 2030, reaching 65 million people through 2024. HP is harnessing the unique capabilities of both its business and the HP Foundation to equip disconnected communities with the AI and critical skills needed for the future of work.
