PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 7, 2005

HP today announced that Ann Livermore, executive vice president of the company's Technology Solutions Group, will be the featured speaker at the HP Technology Forum 2005.

Livermore will deliver the keynote presentation on Monday morning, the forum's first day. On Tuesday, HP Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Hurd will address attendees, and former Ohio Senator and astronaut John Glenn will deliver the closing remarks on Thursday.

The conference, originally planned to take place in New Orleans in September, has been rescheduled for Oct. 17 - 20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The forum is HP's largest technical training venue and product solution showcase in North America.

Russ Daniels and Tony Redmond, chief technology officers of the Technology Solutions Group, also will speak to attendees during the Monday morning session. Daniels will discuss "The Future of Software," and Redmond will outline HP's current and future security strategy.

A broad base of HP customers, partners and employees is expected to attend, including systems integrators, value-added resellers, independent software vendor partners, user groups and the HP Certified Professional community.

Attendees will be able to network and learn about the latest HP enterprise technologies and services to help their businesses become Adaptive Enterprises that are able to synchronize business and IT to capitalize on change.

Produced by HP in cooperation with participating independent HP user groups, the forum will offer more than 400 solution- and segment-oriented technical training and breakout sessions, as well as more than 200 hands-on workshops to enhance the learning experience.
