HP Helps Organizations Break the IT Innovation Gridlock


HP has announced new products, solutions and services to help IT organizations shift their IT spending from operations to innovation. HP’s new offerings help organizations break the IT innovation gridlock by creating self-funding projects, architecting new solutions for change and freeing up funds trapped in operations.

Enterprise Services - Applications Transformation Initiatives

HP Enterprise Services has announced new initiatives to help clients transform their applications portfolios, enabling business growth and innovation while lowering operating costs. The initiatives include a client modernization experience and options for financing the transformation.

HP ProLiant G7 Servers

HP has advanced its server management capability through HP Insight Control with Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3). The technology significantly improves system operations, remote management performance and efficiencies for customers throughout the server life cycle. HP also announced two new HP ProLiant G7 servers that considerably increase operational efficiency and reduce operating costs to deliver a full return on investment in two months.

Cloud Service Automation

The HP Cloud Service Automation solution enables clients to architect their environments for change by accelerating the deployment and management automation of private and public clouds. Clients can optimize the deployment of applications into public and private clouds to improve efficiency, free up resources and lower the risk associated with the adoption and management of cloud computing.

HP Technology Services’ Mission-Critical Services

HP has announced new mission-critical services that help organizations reduce risk, lower operations expenses and increase opportunity to innovate. The announcement includes an expanded HP Mission Critical Services portfolio to encompass the entire heterogeneous virtualized environment with mission-critical level support for Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare and Citrix XenServer. HP also announced new Proactive Select Services as well as flexible delivery and support options.

HP Financial Solution Analysis

HP has unveiled a customized HP Financial Solution Analysis for enterprise clients that analyzes both direct and indirect costs associated with owning and maintaining IT solutions. The analysis enables clients’ CFOs and CIOs to make better IT investment decisions. It is offered through HP Financial Services, the company’s leasing and life cycle asset management services division.
