Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick Sg from Elegant, quiet and Instant Ink is great This is a very elegant device with duplex printing and a functional and sleek interface. Setup was not quite flawless but the online help had the right answer so I was pretty pleased. Switching the Instant Ink subscription from my old printer to the new one was so easy and new cartridges arrived way before the starter ones were used up. It's installed in a cupboard just to keep household clutter low, but I have to admit to opening the cupboard up once in a while just to admire it, even if I'm not printing :)

I have printed a ton of stuff in the past month, and I must say it's such a smart compact machine that does its job well! Especially love the double sided printing where I don't have to flip n turn pages - it auto takes in the printed pages and prints on the other side of it!

Its low profile means it looks really neat and sits unobtrusively on my desk. It connects to my home wifi and the set up was really easy. I can now print from anywhere in the house from any device. The scanning function works very well, and again was very easy to set up. Prints fairly quietly and the print quality (both colour and black and white) is really good. With its attractive pricing, this printer is the ideal choice for home or small office use.

The printer is within 2 metres of my wifi and I have non stop issues with connection whether as a printer or scanner. Trying to find any support on master resets etc is not easy. I have the App and that says I'm connect but alas not the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by A buyer from User friendly but varying print quality Printer is very user friendly, I had no issues setting up with my phone beside the printer. A shame it is only good with a 2.4ghz network and not 5ghz. The first full page photo i printed on normal quality setting had good colour but the second smaller image needed "best" setting to stop colour difference lines from appearing. Good enough for day to day home use though.

I purchase it online and this model got burnt out during standby mode. Setting up the printer and doing test print take up your quota which I subscribe 5 pages per month. And because of my low utilisation, the ink dries up and apparently to the system it is still half full whereby I can’t print anything.

Constantly loses connection with laptop, endless errors (but doesn't tell you what they are, and goes through ink incredibly quickly. Lost track of the number of times it's been quicker to go into town and print something at Rymans than try to actually get this printer to print something. Signed up for Instant Ink thinking it would save me money (spoiler: it doesn't, its a scam), before cancelling it and HP"Smart" essentially put the printer into lockdown forcing me to throw away a perfectly good ink cartridge full of ink which I'd just installed. Used to like HP products but this one is worthless.

I have been an HP supporter all of my life since computers first came on the market and currently have HP computers and laptops used daily. However, this machine is like a Mafia owned money grabber and it hurts me to say... 'Avoid this like the plague. It's absolutely rubbish.

Subscribed to their ink subscription, ended up paying money to print outside because printer was not able to print, Decided to cancel my subscription until my printer is fix, was told my technician that my printer ink can no longer be use until i re-subscribe, so right now I have to subscribe again before i can even start troubleshooting the error. seriously worst printer ever.

So without standing up, i can load paper, cancel print and retrieve printed documents. I can even print double sided and send to print from my phone. Can't ask for anything more. Am still using the initial setup inks. Black documents print fine, but had occasional banding with full colour prints on regular paper, I'm putting it down to maybe an issue with the setup inks and am sure things will get better. Software installation was more or less straight forward. This printer serves 2 PC's and 2 iPhones. Installation was generally ok. On one of the PC's I had to delete the installation and start all over again once as the first install didnt seem to work well.
