Brought this printer MFP 178 NW in Feb 2023 and f i am given an option I would rate this Printer in Negative. from a user point of view the Design itself is wrong.. I don't know how a Company like HP has such a Bad design team.. 1 - The Paper Tray - it should have 2 trays, as user may have to use 2 sizes of paper at any point, and if single tray then the printers sensors has to be properly placed or may be made more effective, because every time we need to change the paper size we have to remove the tray and again insert it and the fixing is so difficult that we literally have to fight with it. 2 - The Paper Jam Problem - i think atleast thrice a day the paper gets Stuck inside the Roller and they have made it so difficult to remove the paper that its not easy for everyone.. i think if you are small team then every time you will need a service executive to be called for this. 3 - Waste Ink BIN -- Half of my Toner Powder falls inside the Waste Tank and when we open to clean it - oh That's a Task in itself --- and don't forget WASTE of THE EXPENSIVE INKN POWDER. 4 - The Display is So Small for a multifunctional Color printer like this -- Waste .. We need to focus so much to even make basic changes .. 5 - Dispensing Tray - This is the worst thing with this Printer - They have given such a small space that if you are printing an envelope or a smaller paper like A5 - its a major problem to take out the printer paper from the dispensing space.. WORST Now i brought this printer on just suggestion from one of the HP dealers -- but would request you all not to buy this.. i am again back to using my old LaserJet 1005 and trying that HP can help me with a replacement or refund

Rated 1 out of 5 by Henry from Paper jam quite often. After second day of using it, I am not sure why the paper jammed quite often. The paper loading roller cannot pull the paper in and I need to remove the paper tray to pull the paper out and also open and close the back cover to resume the printing.
