Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most clear and comfortable consumer headset I'm writing this review after more than 8 months of usage, I got this headset last in the December of 2020. Compared to other headsets such as Valve index, Pimax and Quest 2, this vr headset in my opinion has turned out to be the most comfortable headset, I've used this headset for upto 2-3 hours continuously and my face never and eyes gets uncomfortable or strained which can happen with other vr headsets, the screen is clear and bright with little to no screen door effect and has a resolution of 2160x2160 for each eye, that combined with the Valve's fresnel lenses makes the display of this headset the most clear, immersive and beautiful among all the consumer vr headsets currently in the market even when comparing to Vive pro 2 which has a higher resolution than this headset. The speakers included in this headset are same as the ones found in Valve Index, this is yet another great feature of this headset, they're clear, loud, provides immersive 3d sound, they're placed really close to the ears but never touching them so you never feel uncomfortable with them at all. The tracking of the headset is just great, I've never encountered any issue with the headset's tracking, works perfectly just like it should while the controllers tracking on the other hand is good enough, its not amazing or bad. For best tracking of controllers, make sure the room is dimly lit, it shouldn't be too bright or too dark, a single light source like an led lamp is enough for the tracking to work properly without any snaps and glitches. rgb led strips in the room can interfere with the controller's tracking. When it comes to softwares and games availability, this headset works with almost every vr game available on Steam, for some of the older tiltes which only supports vive, occulus etc, you might have to reconfigure the controls on your controllers as those games might not natively support this headset. To round up everything, buy this headset if you're looking for comfort and great display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best clarity VR ever!! The whole process of preordering was pretty smooth for me. I ordered the VR on April 6th and got it delivered on April 19th (Which is actually really fast considering the fact that it is still on preorder). First impressions the build quality of the headset is really good, the controllers seem a little flimsy but looks classy. Since I own a X570 motherboard I had lot of issues with the connectivity (USB port) so I finally connected the G2 to my monitor which in turn is connected to my PC via USB and it works perfectly. The first thing you will notice is the clarity of the visuals that you see on this headset, its just mind blowing. Even simple games like Superhot VR looks great on the G2. It is a very comfortable headset too, finding the sweet spot is very easy and it does not really bother me wearing it for 2 hours plus. The sound clarity is also really good even though i feel it could have higher volume levels. The controllers are also equally good I have no idea why people on the internet complain about the controllers, they work perfectly well. This is mainly a headset for SIM gaming, Project cars 2, Dirt rally 2 and Squadrons look very realistic (close to real). This is a future proof VR, I have a Geforce 3090 and a AMD 5900x and still I can't the above games on Ultra high graphic settings (as the fps drops to 40-50 which is pretty low for VR games as it gets a little choppy), so this headset requires a very high end PC, but if you have one you wouldn't look for anything else. Only problem is HP India doesn't seem to support the headset (No service in India). If you have an issue you need to contact the HP toll free number which is the only downside.
