A major industry milestone, the introduction of the HP BladeSystem c-Class portfolio is the first delivery against HP’s Adaptive Infrastructure strategy to help customers lower IT costs, guarantee a higher quality of service, improve performance and increase agility. In her speech at the launch event, Ann Livermore announces the HP BladeSystem c-Class as a keystone in our Adaptive Infrastructure offering. She discusses customer benefits of the system as well as our plans to deploy them inside HP.

Designed for IT decision makers, HP Technology@Work 2006 took place in Berlin from April 25-27 and attracted more than 2500 attendees from 61 countries. In her keynote — titled "Building the Next Generation of IT" — Ann Livermore discussed how an Adaptive Infrastructure is the platform for the next-generation data center because infrastructure is the foundation for both applications and business processes. She explained that this new breed of computing requires software to enable it, services to build and deliver it, industry-standard servers and storage to power it, and a global IT company like HP with the capability to bring all the pieces together for customers.

Technology Solutions Group (TSG) Industry Analyst Summit

From March 27-29, HP hosted its Technology Solutions Group (TSG) Industry Analyst Summit in Boston. During her opening day keynote, executive vice president Ann Livermore discussed TSG's strategy to become the best at helping customers manage and transform their IT environments. She also explained how TSG brings together software, hardware and services to provide solutions that make customers more adaptive and responsive to changing conditions.
