As part of our logistics obligations under the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, HP Online Store offers customers the option to return old equipment on a one-to-one basis.

4. Log into your HP account on the recycling page and create a new recycling return order.

As part of our logistics obligations under the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, HP Online Store offers customers the option to return old equipment on a one-to-one basis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only applicable to consumers.
- The return option applies to PCs and printers, flat panel displays and monitors.
- Devices must be free of contamination.
- The device to be returned must not pose any danger. Replaceable batteries or rechargeable batteries should be removed from the device before shipping, and any displays or installed glass panels must be undamaged.
- Personal and confidential information must be removed before returning the item. We also recommend creating a backup of the data before returning it.
- Customers can recycle any manufacturer, not just HP-branded items.
- Purchase of new product must be from the HP Store.
- The new product must be of the same type and/or perform the same function as the old product being returned.
- The product must weigh less than 25kg.
Return Process:
1. Visit here
2. Create a new HP recycling account or confirm existing account.
3. If you followed the link above, you will be automatically recognised as an online customer.
4. Log into your HP account on the recycling page and create a new recycling return order.
- Read the conditions that apply in your region and complete the questionnaire regarding the products you wish to return.
- Choose whether you want to send your old device yourself or have HP arrange a pickup.
- Confirm the pickup address.
- Confirm the return order and download the PDF with the order details.
