What’s it all about?
Get inspired. Be ingenious. Then, jump in the spotlight for some of the film industry’s finest to view your work.
The ‘Make an Ad’ contest is a user-generated content competition by MOFILM, a pioneer in creating tailor-made content for online and mobile operators around the world.
The contest follows the success of the MOFILM Cannes Lions competition in June 2009, which gave people around the globe a chance to develop video ads about HP and other leading well-known brands.
The new MOFILM contest gives you the opportunity to show your work at the Times BFI London Film Festival, to be held October 14-29, 2009. This event brings leading international filmmakers, industry professionals and the media together with large public audiences to showcase some of the best in contemporary world cinema.

When will the winners be announced?

HP brand winners. HP selects three winners, based on creativity, production value and best “fit” with guidelines outlined in the creative brief.

Top three MOFILM finalists. MOFILM panel announces top three finalists among entries for all brands.
|October 21, 2009|
Grand prize MOFILM winner. Announced at awards ceremony at Times BFI London Film Festival.
What can you win?
Together, MOFILM and its partners are offering more than $US 200,000 in prizes. As detailed below, the top winner from each brand will receive an expense-paid trip to the Times BFI London Film Festival. The top three MOFILM finalists will receive additional prizes from MOFILM with the overall winner getting to 'walk the red carpet'with celebrities and leaders in the in the film community at the London Film Festival. The overall winning advertisement will also be played prior to the MOFILM Gala at the Festival. (1)
|HP prizes||First place HP brand winner. Receives a trip for two to Times BFI London Film Festival (including air fare and accommodations), $US 3,000.00 spending money, $US5,000.00 in selected HP products(2) and 0 Snapfish.com gift certificate. (3)|
Second place HP brand winner. Receives $US 5,000.00 in selected HP products(2) and 0 Snapfish.com gift certificate. (3)
Third place HP brand winner. Receives $US 2,500.00 in selected HP products(2) and 0 Snapfish.com gift certificate. (3)
