HP BladeLink technology easily scales and reconfigures systems by combiningmultiple blades to create two-, four- and eight-socket systems. This delivers up to nine times the performance in half thefootprint.(3) Clients also can mix and match HP Integrity, HPProLiant and HP StorageWorks blades in the same enclosure formaximum flexibility.

  • Investment protection with the new HP Integrity rx2800 i2rack-mount server, which enables clients to use their existingrack-mount environments. With a familiar infrastructure design, theserver is ideal for smaller or remote installations such as branchoffice applications.

  • Greater availability and user productivity with the HP-UX 11i v3operating system, which delivers up to 50 percent improvement inapplication deployment time and the fastest failover in themarket.(4) HP-UX offers automated workload management that allowsclients to shrink and grow virtual servers with the needs of theirbusinesses. Available in a pay-per-use model, HP-UX also deliversinstant capacity on demand and built-in software enhancements toimprove management and security.
