to the International Space Station.

NASA chose the ZBook 15 for its primary computer onboard the ISS after conducting an extensive battery of tests, including radiation, to ensure it could stand up to the rigors of space and the zero gravity environment.
But what makes NASA’s selection of our ZBooks even more remarkable is that they are Compute Off The Shelf (COTS) devices. The only customization needed was to convert the voltage to address the unique needs of the solar powered ISS.
120 ZBooks sent
to space to be used by
NASA in experiements
Over the course of the next year, 120 ZBooks will be sent up to be used for command and control, scientific experiments, and to monitor and support the physical and mental well-being of the crew. We couldn’t be more proud to be part of the next frontier of space exploration.

- For storage drives, 1 GB = 1 billion bytes. 1 TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 36 GB of disk space is reserved for system recovery software.
- MIL STD 810G testing is not intended to demonstrate fitness for U.S. Department of Defense contract requirements or for military use. Test results are not a guarantee of future performance under these test conditions. Damage under the MIL STD test conditions or any accidental damage requires an optional HP Accidental Damage Protection Care Pack.
