HP Offers Partners the On-ramp to New Style of IT
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 11, 2014 — HP today announced the HP ServiceOne 2.0 program that enables partners with an on-ramp to the New Style of IT, expanded lifecycle sales and delivery opportunities, new automation to drive faster sales, and significant margin growth potential.
As customers become increasingly focused on service- and consumption-based pricing models, partners offering both core infrastructures along with hybrid solutions and cloud-based consumption models will be better positioned to deliver the differentiated experience their clients require and capture the explosive growth associated with cloud.
“The way IT is delivered is changing rapidly, and we understand the need to evolve our offerings to better serve our customers over the long term,” said Mike Strohl, CEO of Entisys Solutions. “HP ServiceOne 2.0 offers our organization differentiation in the market place and the ability drive business growth and increase profitability.”
On-ramp to the New Style of IT
The New Style of IT requires hardware, applications and data to be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. HP ServiceOne 2.0 enables partners to provide customers with proactive and connected offerings to maximize the business benefit of their IT investment.
To help partners capitalize on current and future market dynamics and pursue recurring revenue streams, HP is offering partners a uniquely attractive value proposition by introducing two new offerings:
- HP Flexible Capacity provides customers an on-premise private cloud infrastructure with public cloud, pay-as-you-go economics with the ability to flex-up or flex-down based on evolving needs. Flexible Capacity is a great solution for partners considering the addition of service provider capabilities and provides a long-term annuity opportunity where they earn as the customer grows.
- HP Datacenter Care, a flexible, comprehensive, relationship-based approach to personalized support and management of heterogeneous datacenters.
Following significant investment over the past 12 months, HP is offering new automated tools that are designed to reduce quoting time, improve business velocity and lower sales costs for partners.
HP is also introducing new delivery opportunities for Proactive Care services and Datacenter Care, creating competitive advantage for partners to build profitable business models while creating customers for life.
“HP ServiceOne has provided partners the richest, most inclusive portfolio and services program in the industry, and ServiceOne 2.0 builds on that foundation to create significant opportunities for partners,” said David Twohy, vice president, Global Channel Services, HP. “ServiceOne 2.0 not only helps partners earn more in incremental margin dollars, it also expands relationships with customers and positions them as a trusted advisor.”
The HP ServiceOne 2.0 program is available now worldwide. Additional program elements are expected to become available to partners over the next 12 months.
