HP Appoints Charl Snyman as PSG EMEA Commercial Products Vice President and General Manager
HP’s Personal Systems Group is responsible for supplying simple, reliable and affordable personal computing solutions and devices for home and business use. This group includes desktop PCs, notebooks, workstations, thin clients, handhelds, displays, personal devices and emerging technologies. Snyman will beresponsible for the product management, pricing and forecasting of HP commercial products as well as supporting the go-to-market initiatives for them in the region.
Prior to his current role, Snyman was the Logistic Service Provider/Channel Development Partner (LSP/CDP) development and sales director, where he led the EMEA LSP/CDP channel across all business groups and was accountable for financial goals (sell in and inventory for LSPs , sell out for CDPs and margin contribution for both) for all business categories. Snyman was also responsible for the LSP/CDP strategy and structure for all categories across EMEA.
“Charl is ideal for the role, as he brings a strong background from sales development in the commercial category as well as from both the direct and indirect go-to-market sectors,” said Eric Cador, senior vice president, HP PSG EMEA.
Snyman joined HP in Grenoble in 1994, and held several positions in the HP ISS NetServer business, the commercial sales development in EMEA PSG and in the Direct Customer Services Group in the HP Volume Direct Organization, where he was responsible for all sales operations and direct set-up activities in EMEA.
