Going to be honest, I couldn't work out exactly what it was going to do from the descriptions, but it's made my external monitor appear crisper and clearer, and its charging my laptop, phone, and running accessories without a problem. I have an HP Spectre.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't do 3 x 4k Purchased to run triple 4k monitors from my Spectre which it doesn't seem to be capable of despite being advertised as capable of 4 x 4k. HP claim that the Spectre isn't capable but it works just fine through my existing G2 dock, albeit at 30hz for the 3rd external monitor. I have repurposed the G4 to a 3 x HD setup but it is a very expensive device to be serving that role.

Ports note said The dock power button is not functional when connected to non-supported HP notebooks or non-HP notebooks but there's no information about supported hp notebooks. Could you please tell me abut compatibility?

Hey Shane, You can check the power requirements for your HP notebook. If it requires 120 watts of power, then the HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4 will work nicely, but if it requires less, it’s not recommended to be used (e.g., 90 watts, etc.).
